This is news? The "conservative" agenda has never ever considered equality in any way. They are real losers, and the general population is beginning to understand that.

That's pretty pathetic. None of this nonsense has happened in any of the other states that have legislated marriage equality ... but it's gonna happen in Indiana. Not!

I don't think I'm as offended by the "dire predictions" as I am by the implication that anyone with an IQ score above 2 is going to believe any of this crapola. The citizens of Indiana should be grievously offended.

"Other gay-marriage dangers included in the flier are that the government could force businesses such as florists and caterers to participate in same-sex weddings, and schools would be required to teach children that homosexual marriages are normal and acceptable."

Recent events have certainly proven this one to be true.

What do you mean " teach " ? They ARE normal and acceptable . If they find a man resuscitating from the dead , turning water into wine and walking over water normal and acceptable homosexual marriage is very small change indeed .

If you run a licensed business in many states, you are already agreeing to serve ALL customers, not just the ones you agree with.

We as Americans would be horrified at the idea of having "White only" signs on the doors of the local bakeries today, and here you are proposing to start that crap all over again.

No one in this country should be forced to try business after business in order to find one that serves "their kind". We should be past that, by now.

Whatever. I am merely pointing out that what they said in that flier is absolutely true and already occurring. It seems the only way to protect business owners from that sort of trouble is not to allow gay marriage in the first place. No gay marriage - no gay wedding cakes, flowers or photography.

Why does everybody think children so weak-minded in the first place ? You'd think we're rearing a generation of spineless morons , easily swayed by the first pervert that comes along ... I think we do them an injustice .. Sexual education is a very healthy thing .. If you're very familiar with a subject it soon loses whatever mystery and " glamour " it formerly had .. It turns into just something else you know .. But if you gild it with fascination and danger everybody 'll want to try it .. But I guess some school authorities are just too dumb to reason that far and it's always the children who must pay the final price .

Who cares?
The bible is a book; for christians; not Americans.

The same christians who say gay people are trying to push their ways and beliefs onto them, while they try to push their ways and beliefs onto us with their God and their bible.

The cult is interfering with political decisions.

Ergo, its tax exempt status should be revoked.

Retroactively, and make it pay all the past due taxes - with interest.

Or, the cultists can shut up and keep their hate speech to themselves.

Right ! A poorly written book that has been systematically jazzed-up by translators and doctored by bigots .

Hmmm. Restrict the Freedom of Law abiding Citizens? Restrict the Freedom of Law defying bigots?

Hard choice.

2 Kings 18:27, " ...that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?"

It may be poorly written but that doesn't stop them from teaching this to their children on Sunday morning in Sunday School.

There is a way to not restrict anyone's freedom.

The pew warmers say things like "normal" to get people all riled up. It seems to work most of the time.

1 COR. 7:36 American Standard Version, ("But if a man thinketh that he behaveth himself unseemly toward his virgin daughter...and if need so requireth, let him do what he will; he sinneth not; let them marry"--(American Standard Version)

Here BibleGod tells us that if a heterosexual man wants to molest his virgin daughter, it is not a sin, but he should marry her before he molests her. Talk about family values.

Your little "business owners" can take their easy-bake ovens and bake cakes from Betty Crocker mixes (a very glbt-friendly company, by the way!) for their families and ever-shrinking circle of "friends", if they want. When you open a business, you have an agreement to serve the public. It's very simple, really.

My wife and I are doing a wedding cake for a co-worker's daughter, and they have NO trouble purchasing it from a gay couple. Get a clue, please. You'd be much happier if you come into the 21st century.

No, it hasn't.
Those "other dangers" in almost every single case have proven to be untrue, the laws against Discrimination were put into place long before same-sex marriage was even a consideration.

BTW you left out the meat of their actual "argument" and it's the same old hatemongering and fearmongering. "Advance America warns that allowing same-sex marriages could lead to ministers facing hate-crime charges for preaching against homosexuality and cross-dressing men being allowed in women’s restrooms, The Indianapolis Star reported."

"Curt Smith, president of the conservative Indiana Family Institute, said Advance America’s flier makes reasonable claims about potential harms to religious freedom if the state’s current law banning gay marriages was to be overturned in court." and that's why it's treated like the AFA as a Hate Group as determined by SPLC

No actually you're only reiterating tired blathering points that have been dismissed by the majority of THINKING people.
I'm sure those business seeking "protection" are similar to the ones in the 50's/60's who didn't like coloreds coming into their "white only" establishments. They will either get over it or close their doors for good, Good Riddance either way.

Ironic that in Indiana a minster faces fines and jail if he blesses a SSM. And this group is afraid ministers will face legal action if SSM passes? They already face jail and fines for trying to practice their religion.

Odd that so many are defending bakers and florists over "religious freedom" yet have no problem with the fact that since 1997 any minister, priest or rabbi that blesses a SSM faces $1000 fines and 180 days in jail.

These folks are fine with locking up ministers.

The flier is religious hypocrisy at it's best.
