Your mental health is a function of how YOU deal with the others around you. If you choose to let others affect you then they will. The more you submit the more they will push at you. Too many people want to blame their issues on others. Too many people want to take dangerous drugs to cope with that they should be able to handle if they behaved as intelligent people. We can't get marijuana legalized but we have a bevy of charlatans pushing more dangerous drugs bolstered by massive ad campaigns.

The most dangerous drugs I know are the psychiatric drugs which are fully legal if prescribed. The side effects of these compounds is frightening if you study them on line where the information is readily available. If we were to legalize marijuana and possible some other popular recreational drugs along with taxiing them it could be a benefit all around.

Just remember: Homosexuality is NOT a mental disease! It is just as normal as bestiality, pedophilia, and tree-hugging!

In the 1980's, when I revealed to my family I was gay, they responded in a negative way. But who cares....it's my life. The seal of approval from others is neither desired nor required.

This is not new information. Important, but nothing new.

We've known since the early days of social science what history has taught and common sense should reveal: Prejudice and discrimination cause needless suffering and death.
