I's not often I say this to you, FaFoxy, but yeah, on this we agree.
I only have 3 cats now.
Calley, a 3-legged male I adopted in the year 2000 when he was 5 months old and already missing a leg. I adopted him form a nice lady in College Point, Queens. Unfortunately, for the past 2 years, he's bene on 3 daily medications because of an auto-immune disease of the liver.(NOT fiv or leukemia).
Jaime, who is about 18 months old. I adopted him when he was about 5 weeks old. He was with a group of cats and kittens hanging around my house upstate New York.
And Grayson, a big long-haired cat, age unknown, whom I also adopted from the group of cats and kittens hanging around my house upstate New York.
Samantha died suddenly this past November of unknown causes.:(
Although all my cats, while all being born and raised in New York have been outside cats at one time or another, I never let my cats go outside here in Arizona because everyone, including my vet, tells me its too dangerous outside here with the coyotes, bobcats, javelina, and other wild animals here. Even within teh city limits of Tucson, the coyotes kill house cats there.
I'm an ardent environmentalist and animal rights activist. I'm a strict vegetarian beacause of that. There are already far too many humans on this planet killing too many animals (Have you been following teh European Horsemeat Scandal ?), and destroying any and all other life on this planet.
Animals don't sin, steal, or commit murder or make war.
Animals are better than people.
