I think people might want, offhandedly, to count on a defeat or two. I just saw Kentucky mentioned in connection with all this, and my first thought was: "Oh, that judge won't go for this." I really do think that way; I believe that's how the world works. Judges are human and frail and prejudiced. Period. Add the south and voila.

But what do I know. The two states who just (at least provisionally) joined the fold were Utah and Oklahoma. Picture asking THIS BOARD to predict that a year ago. Those two states would have been in the NEVER column. From the very people on this board.

Maybe we can petition Obamacare to pay for tu-tu transplants for conservative white men's happiness

Correct.

Of course we aren't going to win every case, certainly not in the confederacy. But these unexpected victories in two of the most rock solid conservative anti-gay Republican dominated states has shaken the anti-gays to their very core! You can tell just by the increased screams of "activist" judges and accusations of overturning the "will of the voters".

Btw, we actually lost at the district court level in the Nevada case which is pending before the 9th circuit. The real action will be at the appeals court level, where we are likely to win some and lose some as well.

None.

You're stuck at 17 until the Supreme Court deals with the Utah trial judge who put an F-U in his ill-tempered decision to Justice Antonin Scalia.

Actually the SCOTUS can simply refuse to take the case and it ends with the 10th circuit ruling.

Regardless, there will be more rulings coming from more federal courts in more states.

The only question is which will be next.

You're seriously misreading the implications of the Utah case. But then you anti-gays never were very good at that.

The US Supreme Court called you back on the carpet to discuss what SAAD attempted to do to Phil Robertson, and your attacks on every religious person you can.

The Atlantic Monthly is a prestigious magazine, and it laid out the truth about you, titling its article, "America won't know what hit them."

AIDS smacked you hard in the back of the head, and you turned around and started attacking everybody--and AIDS is still smacking you in the back of the head.

Tell it to Jeffrey Toobin and The New Yorker.

Nothing matters because they'll all be blocked until the Supreme Court decides what to do to the Utah trial judge who told Justice Scalia to go f himself.

The New Yorker was right.

Utah is huge.

It's not the homosexual soldier who protects us.

It's overwhelmingly Christians, especially Southern Christians. Face to face with one, you would realize your error.

That's how the trial judge in Utah screwed up your tantalizingly close dream.
