One major difference between Christians and non-Christians: Christians know that life is transient and temporary and that what comes after death is the most important aspect of life and death. They also know that what you do before death profoundly effects what happens after death. True Christians will stand firm even if they stand alone. After all, the Bible tells us that few will make it to heaven. You don't get there by pleasing the crowd.

True Christians believe in loving others, and permitting them to love the person of their choice. No one can prove what comes after life on earth, and if there is a God he/she has given us a life in order to love one another and in most cases one most special. Loving another and others, and doing no harm are all that is required. Harming others will not get one into Heaven, if it exists. Love will.
