Where have you been for the last 25 years, bub, under a rock? My Wife and I have had ROCKS thrown at us, been spat upon, and had our car defaced with anti-gay slurs, all in the name of HOMOPHOBIA, while we were at local Pride festivals.
You really, sincerely, could use serious secular psychiatric help. Please get some before you become a danger to yourself and others. Have a grownup show you how to use the Yellow Pages, as little ones like you have no business being on the Internet.
Are you aware of how homosexuals have damaged cars with politically incorrect bumper stickers and have vandalized churches that dared to preach what the Bible says about homosexuality? Homophobia is a total misnomer as the legitimate definition of a phobia is a morbid fear of something. Just because somebody doesn't like something doesn't mean he is afraid of it. Homophobia originally described one who was afraid of falsely being perceived as homosexual. The gay community has since hijacked the term and turned it into an inflammatory misnomer against their opponents.

Personally, I don't recommend that one practice homosexual sex, but what consulting adults do with each other, same gender or otherwise is not my concern. When they start going after minors, that is where I draw the line, same sex or otherwise.

Honey, you are a living breathing example of homophobia. Look at how you explode when someone accuses you of being gay....
Geez..... you sure are dumb.
I am sure you were taught about how some people can be sensitive to criticism en route to your psychology degree. Perhaps you need a refresher course. If somebody were to accuse me of being a communist, I would be a slight bit perturbed myself. You are a troll who gets his kicks by needling his opposition which by itself is an abnormality on your part.

Why is it that the folk who come across as proof that not only does it exist, but it's a seriously debilitating mental health problem to boot, are always the ones who scream the loudest that there's no such thing as homophobia? You're poster boys for the condition.

You may not have noticed, but I rarely ever use the word, because it has been tossed around to the point of being pretty meaningless. It should mean an irrational reaction to the subject accompanied by evident mental and emotional distress. You know, most of your posts. But NOOooo, people slap it on anything and everything, when folk like yourself have serious issues.

My being as gay as the good lord made me is nobody's problem but your own dear. I have no need to share in it with you.

He is defining homophobia according to its original usage and not the misnomer as usage hijacked by the gay community as a inflammatory explicative to use against its opponents. homophobia+ homo (short for homosexual)= phobia (fear). Calling us homophobes is no less bigoted or inflammatory than calling gays by the q-word or the 6 letter f-word.

That would better read, homo (short for homosexual) + (phobia (fear).

I can agree that the word as used has become meaningless the way it is tossed around. I have to take exception to calling anybody who does not see homosexuality as wholesome as automatically being emotionally disturbed. As I have said in the past, I take the position that what two consulting adults do behind close doors is their business. When these adults start messing with minors, that is where I draw the line, same sex or otherwise.

You're not saying that there is no such thing as homophobia, just that not everything called it is it. You're not screaming in denial, so you're not the honest to goodness obviously very homophobic person in the room being alluded to.

Why would I need a tissue when I have your idiocy to entertain me on Topix? For somebody supposedly with degrees in psychology, you make a lot of wrong presumptions.

Oh... I see.... you actually ENJOY whining... especially about things over which you have no control. Got it.

I'm sorry if my knowledge of Science piss you off. It's not my fault that Science tends to have a left-wing bias, and that it's VERY easy to spot a closet queen. They are the ones screaming the loudest.

Your knowledge of science? What a joke! Political correctness has a much bigger left wing bias than true science.

All I see from you is two bit taunts and nothing of scientific value from you. The only thing you can possibly present as evidence is a single flawed study that even the A.P.A. does not put much stock in as the instrument used for the study has a very poor track record which even the A.P.A. acknowledges. Your delusions don't equal good science. I suppose I should stop feeding the troll (you) and will not waste any more time answering your nonsense. It is now just you vs. me and Asstroll stopper. Your refusal to stay on topic has ruined the thread anyway.

For your reading pleasure, knuckleass:

http://www.sexhealthmatters.org/did-you-know/...

Young men are especially prone to erections resulting from emotions other than sexual stimuli. The University of Ga. study exclusively employed very young men. It has also been shown that men asserting their masculinity can have erections that have nothing to do with being sexually aroused. Had they used older subjects in the study, I seriously doubt there would have been the same results.

As for myself, I seriously doubt my attitude that whatever two consenting homosexual adults do together behind closed doors is no concern of mine equates to being homophobic. I draw the line at excessive public displays of affection or going after minors for both heterosexual and homosexual individuals.

Have you also noticed that I have spent more time discussing your delusional behavior than defending my heterosexuality? Of course not! Anyway, defending one's sexual orientation had nothing to do with the U. of Ga. study anyway. You are a real artist at conflation.
