20 states now have federal court cases challenging their ban on same-sex couples marrying.

As predicted, overturning DOMA would create a flood of new cases.

It's doubtful we'll be successful in all cases, but we don't need to be. What we really need are different rulings from 2 or 3 circuit courts to ensure the SCOTUS can't duck the case(s) this time.

The clock is ticking...

Stop it.

Do you want LGBT to have all equal rights in your your stupid state or not? What the hell is wrong with you?

Take your anti Obama rants to some other Topix forum, I'm sure you can find 50 "I hate Obama" forums in like 2 minutes, but try to stay on topic and discuss things that OTHER LGBT people find interesting or important in the Gay and Lesbian forum, please.

Just as you feel free to ignore the topic and go off on silly non related rants and IGNORE all things LGBT? WHO cares about Obama in these forums? This is NOTHING to do with him. Stay on track, for God's sake.

I never saw a more self loathing gay man in my life. Someone really did a number on you in your past.

I lived in Albuquerque in 2011. Too cold for my tastes which is why I moved about 2 years ago from Albuquerque to here in southern Arizona (80 degrees outside now :)).

Well, the entire reason for me moving from New York to the southwest was for the warm weather. The fact that it was just as cold in Albuquerque as it was in New York got me looking for warmer climes again. But the fact that I broke my leg in New Mexico in December 2011 convinced me to move to Arizona asap.

So I did.

I guess you never thought of checking the average temperatures in Albuquerque BEFORE moving?

Were you also SHOCKED when you got to Arizona and found a lot of desert?

I did research the weather in Albuquerque before moving there. I did not expect it to be as cold, and sometimes as snowy, as New York.

As far as the desert in southern Arizona is concerned, I enjoy living here. The weather is almost always warm, there is barely any rain at all, and there are never any bad weather events here, such as big rainstorms, flooding, tornadoes, etc. And I' surrounded by farmland with mountains on the horizon.:)
