I'm stunned. After years of stunningly stupid actions by hundreds of its citizens, Florida has finally got something correct. Now let's see if the idiots in their Legislature quickly convene to write a new, antigay law.

The headline reads like a problem with who gets custody of a lesbian.

Have you followed the number of Florida communities enacting domestic partnership benefits and protections? Have you followed the number of cities and counties enacting non-discrimination policies?

Local Florida officials are practically a bastion of pro-gay politicians. And the ossified state legislature will soon be replaced by these local politicians. Florida is not nearly as conservative as it would like you to believe.
