Washington State voters also APPROVED SSM and Minnesota voters DENIED a law banning SSM.

I think the trolls are feeling a bit BLUE tonight.

I love the "on second thought" quality to the Maine vote.

Every one of those campaign workers in Maine deserve to eat out free for a week!

Now they just need to legalize SSM in MN so my fiancee and I can get married in our own state and not have to travel for it, and so that my sister in-law's marriage will be recognised.

Yes, it's good to remember that even with this wonderful news, the fight if far from over.

I live less than a mile from Maryland, and my wife and I can't legally marry.

This is only the beginning.

The fight for country wide SSM rights will be long and hard but I firmly believe that if Americans willopening thier hearts and thier minds to cultural diversity then it will be done.

Cant blame it all on the ones against it completely though, humans are after all creatures of habit, if its not what they are used to then they will fight it, saying this habits can also be broken with time, patience, and perserverence.

Thats all we need because in the end people will eventually listen to logic and reason and the ones that don't will soon become the minority and looked down upon by society for thier refusal to move on just as those who still oppose the rights of colors and the rights of immagrants.(forgive my spelling, it is very early and I have gotten very little sleep.)

I was honestly surprised by Minnesota, but then I remembered that what happened there was that the voters did not ok marriage Equality. They just thought that existing statute was sufficient.

I think the collective shock of pot getting legalized in Colorado and Washington, combined with the Obama victory, caused the metal plate in his head to come out of alignment again. Must be a screw loose in there ;)

His kind of ranting might be fun though...

OUR NATION HAS A CHANCE OF ACTUALLY MOVING FORWARD WHEN INBRED GOAT-FUCKING STUPID MORON DIPSHIT ASSHOLE TROLL SPAMMERS WITH AN EIGHTH-GRADE EDUCATION WHO USE THE ALL-CAPS KEY ARE SO ENRAGED THAT THEY HAVE TO KEEP POSTING THEIR INANE RANT AD INFINITUM TO EXPRESS THEIR HATRED OF THE COOL PEOPLE IN AMERICA HAVING HOT STEAMY GAY SEX AND SMOKING UP THE HOLY HERB AND HAVING A LAUGH IN THEIR GENERAL DIRECTION AS IF TO SAY 'SUCK IT UP NAZI CONTROL FREAK'

Whew, that was actually kinda fun, but I think I lost a few brain cells doing that. Not that it matters, because I'm an elitist liberal with plenty of extra brain cells to spare.

Again, suck it, Nazis!
