Another sad day in America. Can we just end this madness. Would the courts just make up their minds and come to a close on this issue. And as far as for the will of the people. We all make bad mistakes that ends up hurting other sectors of people. The answer is Gay marriage should be allowed in all 50 states and let people live. Keep the church out of my bedroom and the F'N government to. Most of all "THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE" do not belong in my personal life or my marriage.

All those people who voted for discrimination should be ashamed of themselves. If you have some sort of twisted moral objection to gay persons, that does not mean that you strip them of rights that you enjoy. Personally, I have a moral objection to waging war. I think that is way more immoral than being gay.

I am fortunate to live in a state where gay marriage was approved last year, so I am now married. When I filed my taxes for 2013, I saved thousands of dollars in taxes because of my change in marital status. But I'm old. So in the 40 or so years that I have been in a relationship with another person and have dutifully filed and paid taxes, I've never, until this year, been able to file a joint return. Over my lifetime, I have essentially subsidized heteros with the additional taxes that I have paid.

It's time for the US Supreme Court to weigh in on this once and for all and make it legal across the country. If they rule the other way through some twist of jurisprudence, I will be sorely tempted to move to another country.

As predicted.

Now we wait for the appeals court rulings- this year & next, and then it's on to the SCOTUS for a final ruling by Jun 2016.

The clock is ticking...
