And I cannot be the only person who deems this not an atom more and not an atom less than a *mental sickness* -- claiming that any natural phenomenon has anything to do with a random group of people and their existence.

And if "the gays" could control weather, do you think we would be such a persecuted minority?

Hurricane Gay Isaac failed to derail Mitt Romney's formal nomination as the non-extremist, more pro-American presidential candidate this Fall.

The Democrats were praying for a complete catastrophe to hit New Orleans, for political gain.
Obama could blame both Bush and Romney, not put the blame squarely where it belongs.

It's scapegoating, the rightwingers blame every single negetive thing in their lives on gays, and people of different races . And it is a sickness.

No, you're wrong, the democrats were hoping that the hurricane would have blown straight into the republican convention and get rid of as many republicans as possible at one time.
At least I was.

You guys, note that the ultraconservatives are now *hatching plots which involve meteorology and superhuman powers*, so feral and vicious is their hatred of everyone they cannot control or force to live as they see fit.

They're now guessing the mindsets of millions, linking Obama's actions to the weather, and continuing to pretend they can link him to problems logic dictates he could never have had anything to do with.

OK, I don't see where you're disagreeing with what I said.
Not in the least.

I have also noticed a conservative and ultraconservative "control freak" issue: Those they cannot control, they attack viciously *and quite literally nonstop*, constantly mouthing off and shitting and vomiting their hatred all over the place. It's constant.

They want to *control* others; those they cannot control extenuate this shitting and vomiting from them. It's an extreme sickness and one which guarantees their lifelong misery -- particularly as their vitriol has now VERY, VERY MUCH hardened democrats and progressives who have become as stubborn as they are.

Actually, God is punishing some of the states that do not have marriage equality. Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Iowa, New York, and Washington D.C. weren't bothered by Hurricane Isaac at all. God must not like the Bible belt for its anti-gay agenda.

Yeah, this sounds nutty too. ;-)

Hey, you took the same logic the antigay used and just slammed them with it. Good for you; I applaud it. By *their* logic, what you just said makes perfect sense.

It's also useful because the nanosecond they deny you have a point, you have destroyed *their* point.

Your perception of being persecuted is really a manifestation of your paranoia.

It's all just garbage politics to keep Homocrats in power.
It's just about more free taxpayer dollars for queers.

Studies show that homosexuals are harmful to children, beyond the mere obvious.

I can picture it now, hundreds of gay people standing on the opposite end of shore huffing and puffing til they hyperventilate to blow your town down. The fundies could do a much better job of it, they certainly are filled with a lot of hot air!

Earthquakes? A bunch of gay people stomp in place, is that the cause? Again fundies could do a better job with all that chick fil-hate they eat.

Obama blamed the Republicans for the recent earthquake damage to the Washington Monument, because the Monument was built on top of "Bush's Fault".
