Well a lot of people were waiting to get married, there was a rush and now it should flatten out then steadily rise as civil unions are recognized as now a "married" or "unioned" relationship will become a part of the culture.

Gays & lesbians will use any arguement they can think up in order to justify their arguement of equality. They have never in the history of the world been equal & they will never succeed in being equal. I am sure you have been declared a "troll" for daring to disagree. I agree with you totally. Each person is accepted, liked or disliked at a personal level only not by government legislation. I don't believe the taxpayers (gay and straight) should have to subsidize parasites of any kind that can work. Our current legal system can assure all of the usual and customary complaints of gays claiming to have no protections like straight families. Now a certain segment are even demanding Affirmative Action in jobs.... Who really are becoming the trolls!

Yes, I have already read many accounts and most all of them were lesbians already jumping ship. The amazing part is just how one pair in Mass. was trumpeting loudly and flying the rainbow flag of victory over their never ending ethernal marriage in the face of the world only to get into a rather vicious divorce before 4 months had elapsed. I bet these are the same activists pushing and ranting that children should not be placed in loving families by Catholic adoption agencies unless they are willing to place their charges in gay families!

I certainly am gay and never deny it. What you define as anti-gay agenda I define as common sense. The family and straights have been the core of society for 5000 years. You are redefining it to meet your egotistical problems about not being accepted. I know that most gays have a hell of a lot more and always will since they are not supporting families with children.
I believe in adequate laws to protect financial interests and preventing intervention in your property rights if you form a Domestic Partnership but not marriage. I'm too young to be an old conservative but I respect marriage as I respect my parents. I'm not afraid of anything as you intimate.
