So ENDA passes the Senate, but then the bill dies in the House as usual.

It will be more proof just how dysfunctional the House is under the GOPasaur leadership.

While I do not want to stress your already minimal quantity of brain matter, sometimes the devil is in the details.
.
The Lily Leadbetter Act sounded nice on the surface, but in the details was a lot of goodies for the legal industry.

You can not make laws to make people like or respect you.
That has to be earned, not legislated.

You seem to have difficulty understanding this proposed law. It's not about people liking you, it's about a right to work and do a good job, without fear of being fired for a natural trait that is NOT job related.

Don't worry, it protects straight folks from being fired simply for their orientation, too.

It protects everyone, equally.

I would think that conservatives would LOVE it. It's so much better than supporting folks on welfare, food-stamps, and unemployment. Holding a job is always better than being on the dole, isn't it?

I think gays are doing just fine earning respect without the government trying to steal their thunder and use them for political posturing at every turn.
They are doing just fine.
No one is attempting to make laws to make people like you.

ENDA is a law which prevents people from being discriminated against in employment just because they are gay.
