Legal Group: Gays shouldn't answer Pentagon survey

The survey is predigest and should be withdrawn until a panel from the LGBTQ community has a chance to review it and suggest changes that will make it more neutral. It is our lives these decision makers are playing with.

I wonder if they sent out similar surveys when they were considering allowing whites and non-whites to serve together in the same military unit. The survey's existence alone is insulting. The rights of the few should not be based on the random questionnaire results of the majority.

Of course they didn't. The order was given and the troops just followed them. I really don't understand why it's being done differently now. The military is, by definition, a dictatorship... orders are given and followed by those under the command of the issuer. They don't vote except for the commander-in-chief every 4 years with the rest of us. That's why the military works.

If gays don't answer the survey it will be assumed it is because they are gay, and therefore an investigation can now be started because the "told".

The only option is to lie on the survey, very carefully.
