how much of a right is gay marriage in YOUR state?
what job did you have at GE moron?
go play with icons dude...

Same-sex marriage in Vermont began on September 1, 2009. Vermont was the first state to introduce civil unions in July 2000, and the first state to introduce same-sex marriage by enacting a statute without being required to do so by a court decision.

A July 2011 Public Policy Polling survey found that 58% of Vermont voters thought same-sex marriage should be legal, while only 33% thought it should be illegal and 9% were not sure.

easy, gays will simply claim they have the same EXACT marriage and thus are the same and such a distinction can not be supported...
like you ALREADY do...
And THEN what happens? What if a gay couple DOES this in the course of applying for adoption?

What if two couples, one heterosexual couple in a "marriage" and one gay couple in a "CU" go to an adoption agency, and the agency truly CAN'T make a distinction between which couple is better suited to be granted an adoption (a vanishingly tiny likelihood)? Do they go ahead and grant adoption to the straight couple, and tell the gay couple that the agency is ALL OUT OF KIDS?

The point which undermines your argument is that there is NO SHORTAGE of children waiting for adoption. BOTH of these couples may adopt (if they are found to be suitable parents). There is NO REASON to turn away a suitable gay couple. A CU would not provide an adoption agency with a criterion to deny adoption to a gay couple. This would only be the case if the two couples were competing over the last available child, a scenario that will NEVER take place.

no study to provide?
shocker.

Were you never going to provide a study or did you actually look at some first and realize I was ahead of you?

what job do you want to pretend you had at GE?

was it playing like with judge it icons?

Are we FORCED to obey the law Mona?

I guess not, since if we don't follow the law we just get punished,so we are not actually FORCED to follow the law...

You made the accusation. Let's hear it.... on what studies do I rely? You expect me to make your case for you?

Where was the wedding held? You can continue to avoid answering because you know that no wedding was held. But do keep insisting that it was. It fits in with the rest of your ill-reasoned arguments.

all you need to do is provide one study that my critique would not apply to and yet YOU WON'T! I know why...

do you know what the word "would" means in this context, idiot?
it means something different that "on which YOU RELY".
but you are not bright enough to catch that...

By your idiotic logic, we are not FORCED to drive the speed limit since we just get a ticket when we don't, we are not actually forced, at say gunpoint, to stay under 55...

So your STUPID point that the B&B owners were not "forced", by say gunpoint, to actually host the wedding is JUST PLAIN DUMB since they had to pay a lot of money for refusing...
and like taxes, speeding and EVERY OTHER LAW ON THE BOOKS, penalties are what FORCE behavior...

but lets keep talking about this since I don't think you look too good insisting no one was "forced" since they just paid a fine...

in short, you prove you are a fruckin moron each post, which is exactly why I seek YOU out like I do...

yes. That's exactly right.

So you would try to pass off a stat about the number in foster care as ready to adopt you friggin idiot?
"The annual number of infants adopted domestically (excluding foster and relative adoption) is estimated to be around 18,000"

yup, you ARE a lying, fraudulent, moron.

I have never said anything about speed limits. Once again you try to throw in some irrelevant garbage in a feeble minded attempt to make a point.

So you finally admit that the Inn's owners were not forced to hold a wedding. That only took about six months. Congratulations.

you support yourself with this?
the number of FOSTER children is not equal to the number of potential adoptions, you get that right?(clearly no, as usual).
"Of the children placed in foster homes, over half return to the care of their biological parents"

and AGAIN, we all know a couple trying to adopt an american baby, and many end up looking to other countries because of unavailability, or are you saying that is not true?

in fact you know its true, and this is yet another attempt to take a tangent of irrelevant SNARK ..

your use of "forced" here is so dumb its pretty much fraudulent.

AGAIN (and again) since the critique is valid as to ALL STUDIES I said it applies to any "on which you WOULD rely", not on which you DID rely...

and so you can either accept it as the fact it is, or supply a study that compares married gays to married straights.

see how that works moron?
what job did you have at GE?
why do you deny playing with the icons when its so obvious you do?

Can you not read?

there are 130,000 children in the U.S. foster care system waiting to be adopted.

there are 130,000 children in the U.S. foster care system waiting to be adopted.

there are 130,000 children in the U.S. foster care system waiting to be adopted.

PLease note the WAITING TO BE ADOPTED part.
