As if I said "traditional".
You made it up, attributed it to me and commented...
strawman someone else...
post all you want, but stop prentending we are having a conversation...
Great way to pretend you ever present any facts.

In an earlier comment, you said that "procreation is the basis for marriage rights."
I am simply showing you that your views on the history of marriage are wrong. Procreation is not the basis for marriage rights. If you want the basis of marriage rights, you have to look at biblical marriage. If you want to look at it sanely, then you must realize that things change.

That's another thing, normally people don't think "I'm going to start a family" when they propose. Usually people propose to another individual when they love them and want to spend the rest of their lives together.

Post all you want, but stop pretending you are making any valid points.

explain what the heck you mean, if you can...
but first, how about you answer what you did for a living before you retired...
you seem to think our jobs matter so much, how about being consistent and telling us what you do?
You wrote: "Indeed you are seeking a CHANGE, and you are not entitled to change via the court..."

I responded: When did we give up our first amendment rights?

You remember the 1st amendment... the right of the people to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Is that clear enough for your little pea-brain?

Considering same-sex couples were once banned from marrying in all 50 states, I'd say we're making pretty good headway.
We now have the right to marry in 6 states with more to come.
It's Vermont that pisses off Jane. Gay couples can legally marry there, and he can't stand it!

Do you know Mona's orientation? Why do you assume everyone who supports equality is gay? She might be straight, much like the majority of the supporters of equality.

Not yet, but we're working on it. Just like every other state in the nation.

It just bothers you to no end knowing that we will NEVER quit until we have equality nationwide.

Where did I make any assumptions? Do you know what "assumption" means?
And you did, very clearly, make an assumption.

Did you even read what you typed before hitting "post comment"? That was one of the most stupid comments you have made so far.

You continue to state lies and uneducated nonsense. You hate that I can bring facts to this forum and shoot down all of your stupid remarks.
You are the one who goes off on irrelevant tangents and never bring any factual information to the threads you post in.

You can stop posting idiotic and false statements. I will then have have to show you how stupid your claims are.

I would say that anyone on a discussion forum who ignores a direct comment is simply conceding their argument. Step up bitch.

As AscendedFalmer said, by not rebuking a direct comment, you are admitting defeat. You know that you've been beat, so instead of admitting it out loud, you ignore future comments from the said individual. You can't stand the fact that you're wrong and that someone else is right.

It's a discussion forum. If you are here to discuss only with people who you like, well sister you're in the wrong place. Maybe Facebook? People are going to have different opinions than you. They are going to defend their views. If that seems to hard for you, well, there's no better word than defeat.

I can understand that you're too immature to reply to Lacez, but how about me? Can you earnestly justify not replying to someone who directly replies to you?

Sorry for the repost. Lacez's comments dont look anything like that. What he debates seems perfectly resonable to me.
