I read your full story. No, I don't agree with you. You have, in your Islamic world, 2 great examples of what comes out due to 'the will of the people': Iran and Afghanistan. Very poor results of your mass will. You make a statement from the comfort of your western home. While your gay brothers have their anuses glued shut by Iraqi homo-haters. Why would you wear a hijab in a western country? Did you do it to intentionally raise the ire of your benevolent dhimmi hosts? How unfortunate that we, gays and lesbians, cannot lock arms across national boundaries in mutual desire for western-like freedoms. Do you believe that what you just wrote and posted is original? It's not. A recent example occurred in the U.K. when a threatening sign, written by a Muslim, was posted in a formerly gay-friendly section of London. And the reaction by the gay Islamic organization was to, in effect, defend the Muslims over the gays. We do come to the same conclusion though: if sharia law is what you want then sharia law is what you should have. Please leave the West. Take your sand-jockey ways with you along with your Islamic mental disorder. You are not wanted here. YOU Are part of the problem. maybe some day soon we will not your oil anymore and can turn our backs on your uncivilized part of the world. Maybe then you will get it.

I caught that after I posted. Unfortunately, based on my example concerning the U.K. And more personal experiences, I've come across exactly the scenario I was criticizing. The writer mentioned having feces thrown at her in a western country so that specific criticism does apply to her. Her thinking is not unique. I also think it's representative of a larger nihilistic thought pattern among gays and lesbians. Not helpful to our cause. The end goal should be Western-like freedoms for gays and lesbians all over the world. She is saying that can wait. That the primary goal is 'the will of the people'. She is saying that Islamic religious figures are harmless because of her own personal handful of experiences. Who is she to make that determination. It reminds me of when George Bush said that Vladimir Putin was a good man because he'd 'looked into his soul'.
