The mind boggles. The antigay are frighteningly indoctrinated monsters and I have to point and laugh at anyone who worries for a nanosecond about the reaction of the pro-gay. That UPS didn't even blink is the correct response; the FRC -- wait, this is a "FAMILY" organization?-- literally *lied about* the reasons for the UPS boycott. Wow, suddenly, with the antigay -- and not just once or twice, but constantly and endlessly --*LYING* is a family value. Lying in service of your demonic, monstrous agenda is perfectly OK; got it, that's not a value I espouse, now or ever, end of discussion.

The "F"RC can boycott all it likes; they better boycott Merck and the others, too. Go live in caves, as well. I hope there are tons and tons more pro-gay organizations who literally *refuse* to donate to the "boy scouts," whose victim mentality is only exponentially more sickening in light of the fact that -- as they themselves point out -- the welfare of children is involved. Hi, simple solution: Stop a policy that is the equivalent of refusing blacks, and all will be OK again. Dumbasses.

All Scouting really needs is competent and knowledgeable scout leaders and a place to go camping. Now that the internet exists, the BSA organization can be far less high-maintenance than it is.

FRC to the World, "WAH, WAH, wah' their picking on us."

World to FRC, "so, don't do what you've been doing."

The BSA is a private group that is allowed to act according to its core values. The FRC is complaining about UPS, a private group that is allowed to act according to its core values.

Hypocrisy is a family value, evidently.

If the FRC really serious about boycotts they'd go after Intel. But they won't, cowards.

Why not go higher and attack all pro-equality companies? Why not go after Microsoft or Kraft?

Oh, right, because that's much bigger than them and they couldn't even dream of getting a wedge in there.
