No, the Christian concept of "sin" has no bearing on U.S. law; if that were true, we'd all be in prison.

That's another fallacy. I just like giving you a really bad time. Why do you make so many assumptions?

see how we both discussed the religious construct of "sin" and yet both of us are not religious?

I wouldn't think I needed to write so many posts to clear that up...

Your point?

Sin is a religious construct based upon beliefs and church dogma.

only that discussing sin does not make you religious, apparently, that has to be said around here although I would think it was obvious...
do you agree?
if so, tell dave in mass...

it appears gays need to cram people into one of two pigeonholes...either bigot, or religious...

so much for not stereotyping human beings I guess...

What is obvious? Sin has many definitions both religious and non-religious. Discussion of sin therefore makes one neither religious nor non-religious. Religion specifically deals with an individual's practice of an established set of religious beliefs and rituals. Therefore, I neither agree nor disagree.

Not true. A bigot is a 13th century word meaning one who holds their personal religious beliefs above the religious beliefs of others. It has been also used to define those who claim racial and sexual superiority over others.

A stereotype is a commonly held false belief about others. For example, "Christians are opposed to homosexuality." This is a false stereotype. Some are and some are not. Right?
