NOM pledges to target Illinois GOPers who back gay marriage

As Illinois gears up for a vote over whether or not to legalize same-sex marriages, the National Organization for Marriage says it will target any Republicans who support the legislation.

Well since they don't really need an GOPasaurs support to pass marriage equality, it's pretty much an empty threat.

Btw, the Illinois chairman of the GOP came out in support of marriage equality yesterday. I'd say that pretty much neutralizes any leverage NOM might have.

I think it's time to target NOM. Let's dig the dirt on 'em. Who has been divorced, who has girlfriends/boyfriends, kids out of wedlock, mixed marriages - anything that doesn't fit their narrowly-defined definition of marriage. I wonder what dust and fleas will fall out when we shake that tacky, threadbare rug that is NOM.

Still you have to love the way Maryland,Washington and Maine wrote their laws, it's like giving cookies to the mentally challenged kids to shut them up.This is not what Homosexuals had in mind.
