Jan 31, 2013 | Posted by: Sei | Full story: lezgetreal.com

As news surfaces that anti-gay groups are falling short on their fundraising, Karger has found that the top officers of NOM are getting very rich off of their attacks against LGBT people.

I wasn't aware that there was an organization called "The American Foundation for Equal Rights" to support the cause against Prop 8. I made a donation on their site.

I think ALL of us should donate at least something to this fight.

Go to the webiste of The American Foundation for Equal Rights at www.afer.org and make a donation !

I suspect that the more widespread this information, the more their donations will fall. Who wants to financially support an organization that funnels big sums of the donations to their leaders?

Then again, maybe Brown is just trying to make sure he gets enough money so he can squirrel it away against the future when his group (and his paycheck) dry up and fade away.

Yep, just like Maggie did.

That's why we need to push for marriage in every state even if it may fail. Force them to fight in multiple states at once and limit the damage they can do.

There are currently 8 states working on marriage equality.

If these people were REALLY religiously bound, they would NOT be accepting the gobs of moola. It's all about greed, isn't it?

I wish they would pay him DOUBLE or TRIPLE or QUADRUPLE that amount, so there would be less money for the legal expenses. He should DEMAND it for the GREAT job he is doing !
