What point?

I asked a question; a question, by the way, that was ON topic.

On the plus side, since this leaves Jimmy Carter as the only Democratic President in the past 100 years who lost his bid for reelection, this makes Carter look even WORSE than he did last month. LOL

I didn't get that memo - is that part of the 2013 revision to the gay agenda?

I always take every opportunity to remind them who utterly stupid their namesake is and was.

I specifically said "Democratic". Bush was a Republican.

Would we feel the same about a teacher wearing a rainbow button?
believe it or not i agree with you, but like the cross around her neck which is most likely there to as a student in her class i would have just stopped going to school. but realize i did stop attending school in 8th grade, for very different reasons, but hopefully you can see that for some they wouldn't say a word in protest to her.. they just won't attend.. the teacher then has effectively alienated and created an unwelcome environment to some.. not what she might have attended, i hope. i just know at that age i drifted in and out of so many lives and vise versa. anytime living somewhere became unwelcoming i would just leave... often slipping away quietly in the nite... even left an apartment one night with about 10 people sleeping where i had been staying. i'm sure they spent several days wondering where lilith had vanished to when they woke up and over the next several days. i bet they never dreamed i was three states away by then. so this teachers pride in her cause could create an unwelcoming situation. My mothers abuse on me related to my ruining her life or being a burden to her and as a runaway I was very sensitive to any situations where people expressed concern about my being an issue being there. I felt better walking alone on a street then staying with someone when that happened

Palin isn't a real conservative; she's a right-wing extremist. You might as well compare real protestants to snake-handlers.

If they are a file clerk, why not? If they are teachers, no. Teachers have a duty, as authority figures, to be as neutral as possible.

Diversity materials promote tolerance and safety within the learning environment. Political buttons of this type do not. If a child has gay parents, the button is a direct insult and a form of intimidation.

How is a teacher wearing an anti-Marriage Equality button different from the same teacher using diversity materials in her curriculum?

Does the rainbow offend people?

BTW--so many groups use the rainbow that it barely has any particular meaning without giving it other context.

I hope you enjoy these next 4 years because it looks like the candidate who should have been the GOP candidate this year is now going to be drafted to run in 2016.
The big leftist anti-Christian party is going to end.
"Sarah Palin 2016? Conservative Pundit Charlotte Allen Thinks That's A Fantastic Idea "
Allen argues that Palin could disarm the Democrats' "war on women" refrain because she's a woman who has daughters. Palin is also anti-gay marriage, but has gay fans, which Allen appears to suggest she could use to build some support in the LGBT arena. And Palin's son is an Iraq war vet, so she's got the "patriot" card down, Allen writes. What's more, Allen writes, Palin is better looking than her potential female opponents.

Depends on the locale. Schools have limitations on free speech often inapplicale to other envionments. Also, public servants have limits as well.

The federal government and most state and local governments prohibit political activities on the job. Consider, for instance, the implications of the Town Clerk wearing a button supporting a bond issue. Unseemly.

I am sorry you feel that way and do not understand how you could be a fan of FOX and say that.
She was a guest commentator and you know she made some great points and gave great insight as to the real world of politics.
She is a true conservative and perhaps you are not.
even if she did win presidency she'd just quit in her first year like she did as govner haha (not that she'd stand a chance)
