I don't know where these people are getting this about PropH8.

I'm reading the text of the SCotUS Decision and it says that Perry, et al. had no Standing to Petition in the first place, plainly saying that Walker should never admitted the case for hearing at all.

Perry had no Standing to Petition, the Proponents had no Standing to defend, and Walking shouldn't even have accepted the paperwork to begin with.

All that work to get our data into the Federal records was for nothing. It's all erased.

PropH8 stands as if it all never happened.

The legal experts are saying that this just negates the appeal- not Walker's ruling. Walker's ruling stands, but the guys who appealed it had no standing to appeal the ruling. Only the Governor and AG of California had that right, and they declined to. While Walker could give them standing to fight it in the court, that does not go anywhere else.

I've been reading other analyses, and I'm glad that I read the Decision incorrectly.

WHAT ??? Prop 8 is effectively killed beacause the previous court Cali court ruling stands. The plaintiffs had no standing to appeal to the federal courts. So Judge Walker's opinion is moot.

Marriages in Cali will begin in about 30 - 60 days.

Anybody want to rush off to Cali and marry a 425# bear ?!:)(losing weight, almost down to 417#)
