YAY! A school friend of mine, back in 1988, sadly committed suicide when the current Board of Ordained Ministries denied her ordination because she was gay.

This would have been a HUGE step forward for my friend.

It makes as much sense for an LGBTQ person to be religious as for a black person to join the KKK.

Religious bullshit says it's a "choice", while science says otherwise. Atheists are on the side of science, not hate.

It makes as much sense for gays to be religious as anyone else. You can prove anything you want by choosing the right Bible passage.

You have an excellent point there ; one with which I wholly agree . But the strong , crooked arm of superstition has many gays in its hold ; and a very long time will pass before it finally snaps and they can shake free . We won't live to witness it , I'm afraid ..
