Well wouldn't that be interesting if a second major ruling on gay right came out of SCOTUS bitch-smacking Texas for unconstitutional discrimination?

and you are interested in this how? unless of course you aren't really in Norway... which is, I suppose, where it is correct to call it marraige? At least in Norway they have legalized same sex marriage. But you already knew that... if you are really there, did that move tear apart the fabric of the society? I'm thinking probably not..

Sounds like the good people of Texas don't want queers ruining their state.

How'd that vote turn out for the anti-gays in California?

It's only a matter of time before all these unconstitutional bans are overturned.

It's already ruined by the antediluvian mentality of so many texans .. but perhaps ntelligence and vision just do not mix with horse and cow dung .

You're confusing me with my son. He's ugly as sin and so fat you can't even see his two-incher. That's why no one outside the family will have sex with him.

It's not a matter of a shoe dropping; it's a matter of dominoes. As each falls, it knocks over another one, until all have fallen. And they are fallen faster and faster. But, yes, soon.

...and governor perry's been elected how many times in texas?

goes to show you that texans don't know a darn thing about politics - they've already ruined texas. well, at least the conservatives have.

the law suits, if it's the ones i'm thinking of, in the papers served to the court all refer to arguments brought successfully before scotus in similar issues.

we shall see if texas' judges are as smart and understanding of the u.s. constitution as scotus is. then again, no matter the ruling, i'm pretty sure the losing side will appeal all the way to the supreme court. which is fine by me. there should be a uniform understanding and application of who's legally married and who's not across the united states.
