Obama urges Supreme Court to overturn California same-sex marriage ban

Full story: The Washington Post

The Obama administration told the Supreme Court on Thursday that California's ban on same-sex marriage violates the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection, a position that could also cast doubt on prohibitions in other states.

You knew this already, you are lying to save some mythical dignity that doesn't or didn't exist, right?

You are incredibly stupid.
Henry Paulson along with Bush came up with TARP, a 3 page document initially, that had no specifics as to terms of repayment. You need help on this I see;
http://www.businessinsider.com/uncovered-tarp...
Auto bailout was already put in place by Bush dimwit;
"The only problem with Biden’s history lesson is that the “man with steel in his spine” he referred to should have been George W. Bush, not Barack Obama. Lest we forget, it was Bush rather than Obama who initiated the government rescue of the auto companies.
On December 19, 2008, a week after Republicans in the Senate had killed a bailout bill proposed by Democrats, saying it didn’t impose big enough wage cuts on the U.A.W., Bush unilaterally agreed to lend $17.4 billion of taxpayers’ money to General Motors and Chrysler, of which $13.4 billion was to be extended immediately. He had to twist the law to get the money. Deprived of congressional funding, he diverted cash from the loathed TARP program, which Congress had already passed, but which was supposed to be restricted to rescuing the banks.“I didn’t want there to twenty-one-per-cent unemployment,” he said to a meeting of the National Automobile Dealers Association in Las Vegas last month, explaining why he acted as he did.“I didn’t want history to look back and say,‘Bush could have done something but chose not to do it.’
Read more: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/johncas...
So republicans killed the auto bailout, and Bush took TARP money and gave it to them anyway!
Feeling a bit stupid yet?
bush didn't sign the legislation that asked for the money to bailout the unions. He made it available for the next president if they request it. Congress decided to do it along with president obama signing it.

If Obama wasn't president in Office how was it remotely possible he had any authority to approve George Bush's legislation and amendment to include Chrysler and General Motors; in the TARP funding scheme?
The Nationalizing of the Financial and Automobile Industry happen before the Nov 2008 elections. You are trying to change the historic dynamics of those facts....... ROFLMAO.
Bottom Line, at the very core of Republicanism lays a lying Marxist
Here is more help for your convenience....... ROFLMAO

Friday - Chrysler and General Motors each get $4 billion in loans.
January - GM gets another $5.4 billion in loans.
yeah I would say the "nationalizing" if the auto industry happened in about 1935. Wouldn't you? And what happened to the "nation" since then? KWIMV?

I suppose next you're going to try and tell us that it wasn't Bush that drove our country into our current depression that started in 2007? And that it had nothing to do with 2 unjust,and unneeded wars paid for on a credit card at the cost(in blood) of thousands of our men and women who fought in these idiotic and unneeded wars and paid for it also with their lives? Figures you'd forget all this and try to hood wink us with the old,"It's all Obama's fault"! As it turns out now,it was the right decision to bail out the auto company's for the reason that they are now doing better than they have in a long time and showing profits again! And if I'm not mistaken they have paid back the bailout money with interest! If they hadn't been bailed out all we would have to buy are auto's from company's owned by foreign powers! Bush was an idiot and that is very obvious at this juncture in history! So try again oh great member of the American Taliban party!

nope. I don't buche that much credit. I blame the lobbyists he answered to. Many are the same calling the shots now. Why didn't the housing bubble build during the 90s? Oh yeah because interest rates were too high. So did bush lower them? No! The federal reserve bank does. What else do they do? Set the monitary policy. It really had nothing to do with a president. If the wars are so bad then why does obama commit our military where ever the un tells him without a vote from congress? Is that going to end our involvment in the middle east? Please no bs about spreading democracy, that's what republicans said when we went in. http://www.thenation.com/blog/36756/blackwate...

GM did not repay the loans with money it earned from selling cars. Instead, GM repaid the TARP loans with money it withdrew from another TARP fund at the Treasury Department.

There has not been a Federal Budget in 16 years. After two months, sounds like you are referring to the time period after President Bush Nationalized the American Financial and Automobile Industry.

Are you attempting to suggest that It wasn't President Bush who signed the law nationalizing the Financial and Automobile Industries in Oct 2008? You're really trying to separate your politics from those policies championed by Marxist all over the world but, yet follow the same path as those Marxist like Hugo Chavez of Venezuela?

So if it wasn't George Bush who signed the legislation Nationalizing those American industries, are you suggesting it was some look a like imposter?

After just two months of TARP, the Bush administration said it was done -- crisis averted. In fact, President Bush was done after using about $270 billion of the $350 B that was authorized by Congress. But as a courtesy to the incoming president, Bush would request the second $350B from Congress if President-Elect Obama asked for it.
President-Elect Obama asked for it, and he got it. Tim Geithner, who could not do his own taxes and who, as a regulator, did nothing about the Libor scandal,would have all $700B to play with. Geithner was an obama appointment in case you didn't know...

Bush made those Funds available only because he did in fact sign the legislation in Oct 2008 that authorized the entire scheme of TARP.

Part of the concessions Bush put on the Funding to the Automobile Companies required Manufacturers to renegotiate their union contracts redoing the compensation and benefits packages. Bankruptcy voids existing contracts and fiscal obligations, that's part of the protection in "Bankruptcy Protection"

You are uninformed and speaking from disappointment instead of expertise. Maybe you should Google "GM Union concessions to secure TARP Funding"......

Come back when you're better equipped, presently you're lacking basic information on the construction of the Bush plan to Nationalize the American Financial and Automobile Industry.

Business students around the world will be studying what George Bush did for 100 years into the future, similar to how we studied the rebuilding of Japan and Edward Dimming.

You believe that those who put their penis up another mans backside are just normal as nature....As American as apple pie.

If you saw a guy who was drinking a 32 oz Cola standing next to a couple homosexuals who were french kissing and holding each others crotch, you'd be more disgusted with the guy and his over sized cola.

You think someone who chews tobacco is more disgusting than a man who shoves his penis up another man's stinking butt.
