Can we ALL make insanely stupid, nonsensical, and totally unsupportable statements about marriage equality?? Here!! Let me try!!

"Marriage equality will cure cancer, balance the budget, stop straight people from getting divorced, and end war."

How'd I do?? Was I as close to reality as Santorum was??

You know what's funny? When I see your id "The Worlds Biggest Lie", all that comes to mind is religion. Because that is the biggest lie. And I also know most of the educated in this word have the same opinion, even your hero xtain politicians know that, they just use religion as a tool and a weapon.

That's interesting cus I haven't been to mass in over 20 years. I said it before and I'll say it again, one does not need religion to know. The only weapon hear is hiv/aids, the meth, and other physical abuses you bring to the table.
It's no different for the many hetero's too. You need religion as your own scapegoat and let's face it, if there were no drugs, no alcohol, no tobacco, no obesity, and all other sexual perversions but your own you'd still be making excuses and spreading diseases.
You, along with the federal reserve bank are The World's Biggest Lie.

It might take 100 years, but Rick Santorum is correct.
Why, because offering families more security and providing more stability for kids is always bad for families in general?

You certainly have a bad opinion of straight folks, if you really believe that gay couples having the same protection under the law will cause THEIR families to disintegrate.

Personally, having been raised by straight folks, I believe that they are not that weak and useless.

........
Please provide your stats that prove marriage increases the incidence of sexually transmitted disease, drug use, and abuse. Prove that, overall, those that marry are more likely to have these issues.

Was the HIV/Aids epidemic in Africa caused by a massive increase in marriage? Are most meth users married?

If you really believed in such silliness, wouldn't you be trying to drive straight folks away from marriage as well?

At least try to make a bit of sense.

Rick is a delusional, prejudice and lying religious idiot! Homosexually has always existed throughout human history and humans are still here and still overpopulating. Pretty damn obvious homosexuality hasn't impacted marriage or population growth. Rick should spend more time on helping with job creation ideas instead of crotches.

Nope, it woulnd't affect my status AT ALL. I'd STILL be gay, no matter how many straight people are members of their local LGBT group.
Wow, just when I thought you couldn't get any dumber.
Interesting, so you were not all huffy when there were not enough LGBT protections in the violence against women act?

"and it leaves out protections for the LGBT community altogether."

you do get that when all straights are LGBT, you no get no different protections right?

If you had any sense, you would know that adding all straights to LGBT eliminates what LGBT is all about. I bet you think you can add all straights and still have it be all about gays...its always all about you isn't it?

Obviously the anti-gays in Washington who attended the fundraiser care what he thinks.
It's being posted now because the fundraiser just happened and Santorum is using his failed primary notoriety to help raise money for those opposed to marriage eqaulity in Washington. There is a vote on marriage equality (Ref 74) in Nov.
so, you want to be able to silence him? thats why its being reported, so you guys can go get him, right?

Nope, didn't bother me at all, though I think it should have been a violence against ALL act, including men as well. But I can understand that it may have been necessary because of the history of violence specifically directed against women by men.

Personlly I don't seek any special protections, only EQUAL protections. One example is hate crimes legislation which covers ALL sexual orientations EQUALLY, just as it should.

Obviously you've never been to an LGBT meeting. We talk about gay issues, lesbian issues issues, bisexual issues, transgender issues, and even .......(wait for it).......(you know it's coming).......(is the anticipation just killing you?)....... STRAIGHT issues!!!! We also talk about politics, religion, child raising, the weather, the environment, etc, etc, etc.

My ultimate goal is to have EVERY American join their local LGBT organization. We welcome ALL.

Still seeing the boogeyman where none exists?

We aren't looking to "silence" anyone. We actually tried to get cameras & the media allowed into the meeting so EVERYONE could hear what he was saying.

The ANTI-GAYS were the ones insisting on it being a closed-door no media allowed fundraiser.

We WANT people like Santorum to speak out as much as possible, and we want it to be PUBLIC.

Why is it the anti-gays like Santorum, Romney, etc, always want to have secret meetings? Oh that's right, because they get caught saying things they know the overwhelming majority of people will find digusting.

I love the creative writing...
at Our meetings everyone is respected and we all hold hands...
In VT its the LGBTQ, and they would not consider discussing anything but bullying based on being gay. The group actually got mad at suggestions that all bullying should be addressed and said...get this..."START YOUR OWN CLUB".
And i thought to myself, talk about irony....
Now i know how you will address this, you will insist I am lying because it doesn't fit with your neat picture of the world...

but your denial doesn't make it any less true...

or that gays kicked straights out of a SOFTBALL LEAGUE...as if there was a legit reason to do that...

your view, and reality just don't jibe together...

To reiterate, we WANT these nutjobs to speak out, because it shows just how batshit crazy they are. Remember, this is the same guy who took is dead aborted fetus home so his other kids could play with it before burying it.

They only HELP our cause.

Just as when Elaine Donnelly (CMR) testified in front of Congress against repealing DADT; she actually HELPED us get Sen Collins & Sen Brown to vote IN FAVOR of the repeal.

Just as when Maggie Gallagher (NOM) spoke to the Maryland senate against passing marriage equality. One of the state senators said that she changed her mind and decided to support the marriage bill specifically BECAUSE of the anti-gay rhetoric.

Just as when Joseph Backholm (Preserve Marriage Washington) spoke out in front of the Washington House & Senate against marriage equaltiy.

Etc, etc, etc.

The rabid anti-gays only HELP our cause for equal marriage rights.

We WANT them to speak out IN PUBLIC as OFTEN as possible!!

There is no logic with him only his logic...I doubt he even knows what LGBT stands for, otherwise he would make such a stupid comment. I'm just surprised he didn't C/P a court case from 1968 to try and back it up.

Just as your insistance that it happened doesn't make it true either. Giving you the benefit of the doubt, if you went into the meeting with the same attitude as you have here, I have no doubt they'd want to throw you out.

I can only tell you what I've seen at every LGBT group I've ever been involved with over the years; no straight person has ever been denied entry and their input was always welcomed.

We're trying to get MORE straight people to understand that equal rights for ALL should be important to them as well.

Then why did the anti-gays insist on no media allowed??

Remember Romney getting busted on his 47% comment when he thought there were no cameras or tape recorders?

That's what happens when normal married couples leave the state and why Mass lost a senate seat.
