Wow, it only took you 13 minutes to figure out that what you originally wrote made no sense, and to come up with a lame attempt to clarify.
I'm so proud of you, hon. You keep up the good work, okay?
Keep trying tex! You'll get it right someday.

You need your head examined. All of you.
Yeah, so go gather up all the poor children with one parent, it's not Biblical!

Or are you just a uneducated bigot?

Let the rationalizing continue.
Sigh.

Yes because we should leave children with drug taking parents, or alcoholics, or parents who beat their children or let them starve or lock them up, etc. etc. etc.

Yeah, that's much more 'Biblical'.

Sigh again.....

You're changing the subject but yes, single parent homes are 'proven' detrimental consistently for any child. Living in a same sex home is sure to compound that identity crisis. So the state should NEVER consider such a preposterous idea. Why punich the child even furth cus that IS what you are doing.

You're right. I won't read it cus many of you bastards over the months have been sabatoging my computer when I click on the links you provide. I've provided links by the same people of your article stating last summer that hiv is rising at an alarming rate among our youth. Of course many gays dismissed time.com as a "Unreliable" news sourse.

First, I don't think studies have shown that having a single parent causes an "identity crises". What it DOES do is place financial and emotional burdens on the single parent, which CAN set up challenges for their children.

And you believe that having two deeply committed and loving parents compounds the problems of single parenthood?

How does that make sense?

If anything, promoting marriage, gay & st8, reduces the incidence of hiv & other STD's.

Sir, marriage has been redefined more times than you can imagine.
Throughout history, it's been a means of controlling the family's bloodline; a political vehicle for acquiring power and property; a patriarchal business arrangement; and so on and so forth.
In Old Testament times, men were expected to marry their brother's widows to give their dead brother an heir; polygamous marriages were quite common; the father of the bride received a dowry from the groom and his family; a father could require a man to marry his eldest daughter before allowing that same man to marry one of his younger daughters ...
Yet in each and every case, a man married a woman.

I bet you don't support THOSE arrangements, do you?

Okay, Pittsfield, apparently you've sobered up from whatever it was you were high on last night. You sure weren't making any sense. So now let's look at your so-called "question", the one you claim no one will address.

You're asking this predominantly open and affirming crowd to refute (to deny or to argue against) the idea that two 'heterosexual' men (not sure why the word heterosexual is in quotations) can provide (or should be allowed to provide) an acceptable environment in which to raise any child.

Pittsfield, apparently none of us believe that two men who are capable of providing an ACCEPTABLE environment in which to raise a child should be prevented from doing so, regardless of their sexual orientation.

Which is why your question is tantamount to asking, "Can anyone explain why the moon is made of green cream cheese?" No one can explain it, because your question is spurious to begin with.

Get it?

(Well, duh.) Or WOMEN ... which may have included his widowed sister-in-law, or his wife's younger sister, and even, on occasion, his mother-in-law. Or a woman chosen by his father and/or her father. Or, as in the case of several royal lines, his sister (Cleopatra, for example, was married to two of her own brothers.)

Which brings me back to the question I asked you yesterday, and which you conveniently chose to ignore because you can't come up with a logical answer:
Exactly which version of marriage do you personally approve? And more importantly, to use your own phrase, why should YOU get to redefine marriage for everyone?

Western civilization doesn't support any of "those arrangements" in the 21st Century.

I don't know why they might have claimed it was unreliable. Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. That, however, does not explain why you would accept their report on one subject and not another. And you don't have to click on my link to check it out. You obviously have found their articles in the past, and could do so for this one. The only thing that you have proved is that you are inconsistent, and biased.
