Rights should not be out to a vote ever.

We should have our supporters in the legislature insist that if they REALLY want the people to decide on this issue, then the only fair way to do it is dual opposing constitutional amendments. One amendment to ban same sex marriage, and one to allow it, whichever gets more votes wins (unless neither gets a majority, in which case no change from the present would occur). Then we can see if they really do want the people to decide on this issue!

I agree......if they want to insist on voting on our right to marry.....then we should have a right to vote on their right to marry........my guess is they would squawk big time!!!

I support your position, but remind you AND BRIAN that the last time HE insisted it be on the ballot, SSM PASSED in 4 States! And now that SCCOTUS has ruled those marriages are at the FEDERAL LEVEL and worthy of Federal protection!

Brian hit his head a few too many times against turnbuckles! He parrots what his handlers tell him to.

We tried mob rule, we wound up with Salem's dark history as a consequence.

Like it or not, a vote will probably happen in Indiana. Unfortunately it will be on the 2014 ballot when most old people vote. At this point I'm not sure it's worth putting a whole lot of money & time opposing what will probably be a losing effort.

I'd rather we put all our money & effort into winning Oregon.

At the time of the writing or the U.S. Constitution, the "Republican" Part was in the future by a very good bit.

Constitution of the United States

Article. IV.

Section. 4.

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government ... "
