i can get a lot more crass with people like you who "choose" to play stupid. Mary is nothing more than a statue and that is exactly why she was propped up to draw in the goddess worshipping pagans.
A penis is "a" requirement, continue to play dumb. nuns are not allowed in the governing Dan.....they have "vaginas' and are banned. Keep up the dumb blonde act you wear it well.
I can't be a nun. By your logic, I'm being wronged. I'm a victim here of gyno-centrism and you're calling me "dumb".. "sniff"

Sorry you feel that way about Mary. In truth, Mary IS the most venerated human being who ever lived, and that's due to the Church recognizing her as such.

LOL.

You're something.

Your "tactic" was to call a woman "breeding stock". I can show you your post.

Hilarious.

For all we know she got pregnant from fooling around and made up the whole story of being visited by an angel to cover her indiscretions.
See what I mean? Now we're treated to your "insight" of inferring that Mary was a loose woman.

Fun for you, but not really an argument nor a demonstration of intellect.

You don't need to show me the post. I know exactly what I wrote, and that was exactly what I meant. If I believe the story as written in the Bible then Mary was used as breeding stock. Did your all powerful God have to have some woman impregnated while unmarried making her look loose and whorish in the climate of the times? This God created the whole world according to your mythology and he couldn't send us a "Savior" without putting a woman through that hardship? Why make young Mary suffer an illegitimate pregnancy and the scorn of her community? Why make her have to relate some crazy story about an angel coming to her and God imprenating her, making her look nuts?

That kind of logic (snicker) is what I call "hilarious". It doesn't make a bit of sense but you Christians will hammer a square peg into a round hole until it fits the way you want it to.

I never claimed my "insights" are the truth or the only right ones, that's the difference. However, saying that a young unmarried pregnant woman in such an era was loose is more relistic than claiming some God impregnated her and caused a virgin birth.

To revisit this post...at one time it was very uncommon for men to be nurses and women to be doctors etc. However, time has moved forward, things have changed, we have male nurses in all the hospitals and women doctors and surgeans, and the medical community has not collapsed, so maybe it's time for the RCC to drag itself into the 21st century. I bet women priests would be far less prone to molesting children.

Again Dan....nuns do not govern in the CC, they have a vagina which disqualifies them, a penis is required to govern in the CC. Keep evading the "governance" and male hierarchy issue by dancing ridiculously around the facts, it makes you look childish.

And remember that this God could only arrive sliding through a "virgin" vagina!!! Nothing else would do!!

Well yeah, but then this god was not fond of women. Eve broke his apple law and that really pissed him off at women for eternity.

Well, the male writers of the Bible claim that's the way it happened. I'm willing to bet it was more like Adam saying to Eve..."if you really loved me you'd eat this apple".

I agree with you, but I don't think Jesus intended for it to start out that way. It deteriorated when men of the day took over.

Most women's orders are what qualify as "2nd" or "3rd" "Orders". You can take the same vows and live by the same rule. They'll CALL you an oblate or monk, but neither make you a cleric.

It's tonsured orders is what is barred to females.

There's no valid reason for this.

Sure you can.

Typical RC, confusing the word for the thing. You can be the thing, just not the word.

Not the same as tonsured orders.

Got it.
I'm not sure that you get to declare heresies on your own, snyper.
Reared to obedience to authoritarianism, you would find that to be true.

The Cappadocians are famous precisely FOR their heresies ... to their followers and those that followed them, etc.; and infamous to those who did not and are not.

Despite arrogant claims, the Nicenes are NOT the oldest sects of followers of Yeshua.
