The "bolt out of the blue" is probably found in every cultural theology where thunderstorms occur.<quoted text>
Where are you getting your theology from, Ken?
Norse mythology?

I don't recall ever finding that "theology" in either the Old or New Testaments. |

Judged: 1 That's a fact, too! But, Lightning IS a natural phenomenon. That is why people who play golf do not go around with their golf club held above their head when thunder is crashing anywhere nearby. Neither do they go looking under bushes, nose first, for a lost golf ball where Eastern Diamondback rattlers are likely to be hanging out. Earthquakes are natural events, also. When Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, even though they were corrupt villages, the event that destroyed them was a natural event. Timing is everything, including a bolt out of the blue. |

Judged: 2 2 1 Either the Kingdom of God is for everyone or it is not. MY GOD loves ALL of his children....not just the one Joe DeCaro proclaims he loves. |
|
Judged: 1 Of course He does. He loved all of us enough to go the cross for our sins. God's abundant grace. But like any gift, freely given or not, one has to pick it up and open the package, accept the gift and use it. When we reject His sacrifice and His offer of living water by turning our back on the Giver, it is not His lack of love for us that condemns us but our own ingratitude and pridefulness. He gives us what we choose and if you choose disobedience, rebellion and sin, he lovingly gives you your choice - separation from Him. I don't hear anyone say God doesn't love you. I hear them say that by your actions and rebellious spirit, you have chosen to walk apart from the One (no - not HER) that you claim to love. Encouraging you to take advanatage of God's gift is not hatred of you and, in fact, is infinitely more loving than the license Ken the false prophet spews forth to scratch your itching ears. |

Judged: 1 1 1 What planet does she live on? Church after church that has tried to appease the left and the gays has found itself failing, losing members, and in no way bringing more people into the church. "Liberal Christian" is almost as much of an oxymoron as "gay Christian" is. While the left and the gays can say they are Christians, it appears they have in no way turned their lives over to God. BTW, I know of a large number of churches that have not watered down their standards to accept gays nor are they attractive to liberals. Funny thing is, they are thriving! |

Please, chance/snickers, grow UP and get a life. Get secular counselling for your anti-gay rantings. |
GOD walked in The Garden alone; but all that changed when HE called The Golem to do a makeover on the place . Now GAY people go to the Garden of Eden so we don't have to put up with you in heaven or hell for an eternity . Lookin' good! ;o)) http://www.youtube.com/watch... . Thank Thee Lord! |
