The Rt. Rev. Mark Joseph Lawrence, the Episcopal bishop of South Carolina, fears for the future of his church.

One week after the U.S. Episcopal Church overwhelmingly voted to approve a provisional rite for blessing gay unions and the ordination of transgender people, Bishop Lawrence said in an interview with NBC News that his denomination is moving too far out of the mainstream ...

LGBT?
Putting yourself ahead of the rest once again, Sel?

It's no coincidence that GLBT posters like yourself will contradict anyone and anything, including the Bible, in order to justify themselves and promote their personal agendas.

Try living that Bible, but if you want something biblical to study, consider the parable of the wedding guest who put himself first only to be seated last, i.e., from LGBT to GBTL.

Or the fact that we are new creations in Jesus.

You continue your roman thinking, we are all evil, nasty and fallen and I'll stick with Jesus who says you must be born again and reminds us that we are ALL created in the image of God.

You continue to point out splinters and I'll continue to point out that Jesus is ALIVE and waiting for each one of us to respond to Him.

Continue to sit on your sanctimonious ass and judge on your computer throne.

You won't recognize Jesus because He doesn't fit your critera.

That makes me sad for you....

<quoted text>I understand your concept but it would appear dark forces have reigned over us for a long long year. The issue of those giving into their homosexual 'tendencies' and requesting special rights from the govt is preposterous. So is ss parenting or [email protected] They by their own relationaship forfeited and abrogated the ability to procreate and champion such fine virtues given to us by God so why should we trust them with a newborn and whom or what they wish to craft said child into being. This is treason among any father, mother, grandmother, or grandfather.
I agree with you about the lengthy reign of dark forces. As indicated in the book of Hosea, My people perish for lack of knowledge. I believe ignorance to be the ultimate evil. Jesus didn't go along with the religious people of his day either. In fact he vehemently rebuked the Pharisees and sadducees of his time for their wickedness and iniquity. Just like in the garden of Eden, I believe the serpent has slithered in among the midst of us and is tempting the chiefest among us to partake of the knowledge of good and evil.
As a married bisexual woman, I have wrestled with my own spirituality vs sexuality for years. And I have served God my whole life. The conclusion I've finally come to within myself is this. That just like God tells us in 1 John 4:7-8, love is of God and anyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not, knoweth not God. For God is love. My walk with God is just that. My own. The ONLY one who has any power to judge me is him, and I take comfort in the fact that I know he will judge me fairly. Who these people choose to love is none of my business. Nor is it my business to tell them that they can't be together.

She didn't put quote marks around the statement, Mr. So-called Editor.

So, that makes the statement an observation made about YOU!

Truth has been a defense against slander since colonial times after the failed libel case against another editor named Zenger.

And for the record, you have hardly been peaceable since the day you joined Topix.

So you admit to being an ass. Thanks. You finally told the truth. Now try on Titus 2 for size and see if you can stop being one.

Does that explain why an avowed lesbian like yourself has such an obsession with me?

What will your pro-gay handlers at church do with you now?
