Why is it that left has so little confidence in their own ideals that they must SILENCE anyone who isn't spouting the same stuff?

Why is it that the Right has so little confidence in reality that they have to lie every time they open their mouths?

Really? They didn't cancel him for his views, they cancelled him for not sharing his speech ahead of time.

If some anti Christian or a gay speaker was cancelled for not giving his speech up for review, you would be PRAISING the principal, hypocrite.

And I don't think Catholics should be allowed to talk to school kids and try to convert them.

Why would Santorum want to speak at a school of all places? He believes that smart/educated people will not vote socially conservative, and he's generally right about that.

And no one is silencing him. He silenced himself by not cooperating with the principal's reasonable request to see the speech beforehand. It's likely he planned to say some things that would be inappropriate at a public high school. Otherwise, why would he not share his speech with the principal?

And this guy plans to run for president again? He can't even beat a loser like Romney in the primaries, let alone beat Hillary. Let the fool waste his money and provide more entertaining fodder for the media.

It's the policy of the local School Board that all speeches must be submitted in advance. They didn't silence Rick. Rick chose to not follow the rules. Now he faces the consequences and you're mad.

Great lesson you're sending to children. If you can't get your own way and refuse to follow the rules everyone else does, claim to be a victim.

Your "family values" are a disgrace to most Americans.

Conversely, one might say that they were protecting their students from perspectives they don't want confusing them.

Your last sentence is excellent. Chance is never consistent in his actions.

I agree that if a gay person did the same thing Chance would be praising the School Board for it's policy and condemning the gay person. But since it's his hero Rick....

Maybe Rick will bring another of his wife's premature fetuses and let the students handle it the way he let his own kids handle the little dead thing, basically a hot dog with Xs on its eyes. I can't think of anything creepier than that.

Go back and READ the article. Nobody is being "silenced", least of all ricky santorum, your bff. He refused to submit a copy of his speech, so so he was CANCELLED, and rightly so.
