Lesbian Couple Assaulted And Stabbed For "Having Sex" In McDonald's Restroom

Jun 21, 2013 Full story: Queerty

We're not sure what inspired two 23-year-old women to have sex in a McDonald's restroom in Philadelphia earlier this week , but in hindsight, they'd probably tell you it wasn't the best place to get down and dirty.

I can understand someone being angry for someone, gay or straight, having sex in a public restroom in a very public place but stabbing someone because of their sexual orientation is just inexcusable and hate motived.

I think it is more serious that someone was stabbed than someone having sex. Will they ever find the criminal that did it?! How do we really know they were really having sex instead or just kissing or if they were doing anything at all?

Okay, no one should have sex in a public restroom, but that's not a good reason to attack someone, and definitely not a reason to stab them!

Thank you! Finally someone with common sense! But, we don't know for a fact they were having sex or that they are lesbians. We are just going by the manager's word. They are not even a cop. For all we know they could be a homophobe who made it up or exaggerated. It should be noted that it was a family restroom they entered meaning it's not an open men's or women's restroom and why would the management just unlock and open the door up without even knocking if that is how it happened. Then one of them gets stabbed! I believe the manager was a man. A man walking in on two women in the restroom. I certainly wouldn't want to be in his position. I smell a lawsuit coming. I don't think family restrooms have a rule that says only one person can enter. Sometimes it is for both parents and children or a child/infant. I also believe these restrooms are created for transgender people in many places to avoid controversy and to accommodate them.

That's what I was thinking! They could have just gone to the bathroom together, right? Women do that. I think originally family restrooms were made for people who are the caretakers for someone who is physically handicapped, but they definitely serve a purpose for the transgendered.
