Pastors Urged to Defy IRS to Defeat Evil, Hitlerian Obama

Conservative evangelical leaders hope that 1,500 pastors will take part in “Pulpit Freedom Sunday” on October 7 and tell their congregants that they must vote against President Obama and other “unbiblical” candidates. Today, publisher Steven Strang, anti-gay activist Rev. Jim Garlow, and too-radical-for-John-McCain pastor John Hagee participated in a conference call designed to either shame or inspire more pastors to take part.

Mitt Romney got 4 deferments from going to Nam which is fine except he spoke out in favor of the war but he isn't black so Christian conservatives call him a patriot.
I am a recent Vet and have no problem with those who got out of Nam and against Afghanistan (I am now also against it) but to actually be such a hypocrite as to support a war but than get out of it is typical republican filth "Do as I say not as I do".
Recall all of Bush's band of merry men, ALL of them were slackers or draft dodgers, Rumsfled, Cheney, Karl Rove, Bush himself, the whole kittenkaboodle, yet were so blood thirsty and hungry to spill blood, not their own, or any of their close friends and family.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about Bush and his FAMOUS aircraft carrier landing. I didn't know till much later that the carrier was floating peacefully in San Diego Harbor. From the original footage, they made it seem like they were in the middle of the Persian Gulf. Who can forget Bush prancing around on deck in his little flight suit waving like a Rose Parade princess, then him being in his suit within minutes, like James Bond. I am betting that is the most action he EVER saw his illustrious military career.

First thank you for your service. I too was in Nam, the only draft dodger I have a problem with are the ones who left the country. The ones who went to jail for their beliefs or did "alternative service" I have no problem what ever.
People who used family influence to get into the "guard" or while being a "booster" of the war while hiding out in a mission for their church, let's just say I don't trust them when the "chips are down".
Right back at you ,Thank you for your service.

I was artillery 2ND Division.

I have alot of sympathy for Nam vets because in my case "You are a hero fighting "terrorism" " and "thank you" but for you guys it was a horror show during and after .

I enrolled my insurance at the VA system in Miami and spoke to Nam vet who had to wait 10 years for a badly needed back surgery after he got out of the Marines in 1973.

The Huey he was on was shot down and he was given a purple heart after they were rescued , after 10 years of pain he finally got the surgery he needed to reapir his back.

The GOP drape the flag while putting on a symbolic show and give a good speech Rush Limbaugh style but slice and dice VA benefits .

Countless Nam vets in Key west .

I did not know that and thought they were in the Gulf.

Bush was atleast in the guard and from what I understand he was A-political with no desire to follow his father as far as politics go nor did he ever utter a word in support of the war but I agree with what you have stated.

Romney was vocal in his support for the war but went off to France with religious deferments and that is deplorable.

Kerry served and the GOP tore him to shreds , by the time they were finished with Kerry he was made to look like a Dick Cheney and Bush and Cheney looked like special forces.

Really? Well Mitt Romney (a "Christian" Mormon) has broken the Ten Commandments more times that we can count. He lies like a rug, he steals from the poor, and he bears false witness against his neighbor (opponent). Is this the man you want to run this country? He is a hypocrit. He plays the game of "bait and switch". He breaks God's covenants. He can't be trusted!
Mor(m)onism isn't a real religion, so his lies don't count. Well, maybe they would on planet Kolob.

When might liberals discover Bush, and Cheney are gone, and so is Rove? This is a new Administration now aproaching its' second term. Every black church in Cook County, and surrounding counties will welcome the black Democrats to their alters. This is O K with the separation of church, and state kiddies. Republicans are not welcome. This time there is a problem. The black folks always blamed the white politicans for their problems, now they have a black President, and they still have the same problems. Fewer of them will vote for him this time then before.

Cheney nor Rove are gone. In fact Rove is running one of the largest "Corporate Citizen" pacs in the country. You can't make that kind of stuff up man.

But republicans are SO good at making stuff up. So good, in fact, that many of their lies remain unchallenged. Gerald Ford was the last decent Republican; all since have used any means to gain and hold power. Their latest efforts to prevent sections of the citizenry from voting are just despicable. Romney wants POTUS so badly he will do and/or say anything to get the office. He would make a good model for a Janus statue!(you remember, two faces)

I agree there is no federal right to vote and many who vote are a greater danger to themselves than anything else .
A written test would eliminate majority of Obama voters and they would cry racism.

My congregation has sent countless flyers to black areas that might open their minds or get them not to vote for the communist kenyan.
You sound like such wonderful loving Christians. Your god doesn't take issue with mocking or insulting those you disagree with? Awesome sign me up!
