By the way, there have been no BSA sex scandals.
How long do you think that would continue if we allow homosexuals to become Scout Leaders?
Be careful what you wish for.
Try google.

There were over 2000 reported sex abuse cases in the BSA prior to 1994.

In 2010 a court ordered the BSA to pay $18.5 million to a scout who was abused in the 1980's.

Since gay scout leaders are banned, that means the abuse had to be ALL BY HETEROSEXUAL SCOUT LEADERS.

This should be a enough new information to put a stop to your teaching children male-to-male marriage is normal and safe.
It's neither.
It seems to be working just fine for the 150,000+ married same-sex couples, including me & my husband.

2. Is he? I think he wants to preserve traditional marriage.
3. You seem to be fascinated with gay sex, no one cares.
4. False. States make the laws, people follow them. The laws apply equally to everyone in the state.
5. We know yours aren't. Especially now that anyone can go to a state that allows gay marriage to marry. You were irrelevant before that was possible.
The courts disagreed, which is why they overturned bans on same-sex couples marrying in Massachusetts, Iowa, & Connecticut; they found the laws to be discriminatory.

You fellows are in the schools teaching children male-to-male anal sex is safe and normal. The way you got there is same-sex marriage. In fact, that's the reason you want same-sex marriage -- political power. As we see in Massachusetts, 10 years after same-sex marriage, less than 5% of you even bother to get married.
Get out of the schools.
Leave the kids alone.
What part of that don't you understand?
STILL waiting for your proof of the 5% figure....

We will continue to win marriage equality for same-sex couples state by state. And we'll continue to teach in school that same-sex families exist and are entitled to the same respect & dignity.

What part of that don't YOU understand?

With all the issues this country faces, homelessness, wars, horrid economy, lying presidents, people losing their homes, no jobs, inflation, rising crime, gun crimes and extremism on both sides of our politics dividing this nation like never before, we focus on crap like gay marriage. Its been decided already. let the gays ruin their lives by getting married. They will figure it out. Why does anybody care really what some1 does in the privacy of their own home? This country sucks because we focus (the president also) on social issues that have already been addreesed instead of the real issues that hurt everyone of us everyday. Not issues that have already been decided in the courts that effect 1 in every 30 people. Stop wasting our time and figure out the real problems in our country before its too late and there isnt a country left.

Why cares about %5 numbers? School is no place to teach about the "rights" to same sex families. Does school also teach the rights to straight families? No. So why do you feel same sex families should get extra attention? Its thinking like this that wastes the time of kids that could be learning something important like economics, how not to be a biased ass, how not to be politically and personally biased or maybe how to be accepting of opposing views without a childish attitude. these are valuable lessons that are then translated into unbiased feeling/views on things like gay marriage later in life. Meanwhile, our country is falling apart (roads, bridges), we have millions homeless and starving an dyet you want schools to teach gay marriage? I'll tell you what, a country with no jobs, no money, no residents isnt a place where anyone gets married. Gay or straight. PRIORITIES!!!!!

Here's a disconcerting thought: suppose this trend continues in all the other states?
What will you be whooping and dancing in the streets about then?
So, did you have a friggin point? Or are you just here to show how ignorant you are and how much irrational contempt you have toward gay people?

Hmm, total loss of logic? Using your "logic" that would mean that "closet" gays aren't really gay until they "come out" right? After all just like gun laws, there was never BSA scout leader that was gay because that was the rule right? After all, people in the USA never lie and never try to get around the rules/laws. You aren't helping your argument.

Yes, schools have been teaching about straight families for decades. Now they will teach about same-sex families as well.

I'm pointing out the fallacy of banning gays; whether from the Boy Scouts or the military or any other organization.

I doubt dum-dum Gary will figure that out even after reading this post.

To quote former and also Gay NFL plater Wade Davis: "“i didn’t want attention on me,” he said.“There’s an old saying that the loudest voice in the room is the weakest one in the room.”

The bigoted "homophobe" (read closet case") according to his profile has only been on Topix for a few weeks and has posted to nothing but Gay Topix. He never posts facts. Troll? Probably. Closet case, more than likely. So many of them reek of self-hatred.

He's going for yet another "status update", not sure how often California requires them, he's been in jail for more than a year now and he's going to yet another hearing that gets this case any closer to resolution. Disturbing is a good word for it. Swing and a miss on your part.

Not sure what you mean by a "status update"?

When a defendant is awaiting trial, especially when its going to drag out like this, the prosecution has to go before the Court and the defense and let them know how close they are to getting something accomplished here. It's a procedural appearance, usually on a set schedule.

Here we go again: cherry-picking who's gay and who isn't. You think you can get away with this when you call a homosexual who slips through the BSA's ban on homosexuals, heterosexual.

Your logic works like this: The BSA has a ban on homosexuals; therefore, any Scout Leader caught molesting a boy must be heterosexual.

Worse still, when offered a fool-proof definition of homosexual males -- males who engage in male-to-male sex -- you reject it in place of the one you use here: "A homosexual is whoever I say is homosexual."

No, fella. A homosexual is not whoever you say is a homosexual. A homosexual is a person who CHOOSES to have sex with a person of his own gender.

Get over it.

Oh look at you, demonstrating your creepy obsession over gay males!!!
Hey, can you provide a link that shows exactly how many gay men there are in Massachusetts?
After you do that, can you provide the basis upon which you have decided that what percentage one represents in overall society has any input on what rights they are guaranteed? Good luck with that one Ms. Lloyd!!!
This fat old drag-queen-wanna-be, with his Glee worthy bleached hair, has been peddling the same outdated and debunked information on topix pretty much since MA extended marriage equality!! And despite all his misinformation, we now have 16 states with marriage equality, two states outlawing fake conversion therapy, and other huge gains. His side? Not so much!!!
Tell me, is he still shilling for MassResistance??!!!! I'm going to guess yes since he never once demonstrated that he had an IQ capable of independent thought!!!!! Just cut and paste and cut and paste!!!!!!
Google "gay pride parade" and you'll get images of gay males marching in penis suits, masks, hats, and some sitting atop giant penises floats.

Please explain what all these penises have to do with pride.

You are such an ignorant jerk. That false statement was debunked years ago, but, like your minders, you'll believe anything, no matter how stupid or proven erroneous, and spout it as gospel. And I bet you think you are a good Christian, too. You are nothing but a small minded little hypocrite that would make Jesus cringe.

Well then Gar,according to your definition of gay YOU would be gay then! Or did you forget that over a year ago you admitted on the Prop 8 thread that you had in fact had anal sex? Besides your theory is B.S.! If a gay person never has sex their whole life and they still only have an attraction to members of their own sex, they are gay stupid! It has nothing to do with having sex and everything to do with who they are attracted to stupid! Oh and by the way,how about putting that picture of an 8 year old smoking crack like you used to have on your old profile,it explained you much better! What a lying, hating putz you are,but then what's to be expected from a convicted felon fresh out of the joint!
