A Decade After Mass. Ruling, Gay Marriage Gains

Nov 16, 2013 Full story: CBS Local 338

In the decade since the highest court in Massachusetts issued its landmark ruling legalizing same-sex marriage, 14 other states and the District of Columbia have legalized it, with Illinois poised to become the 16th in a few days.

Good save.

Here are some other ass-saving qualifiers to add to your toolbox:

"Seems", "Appears", "Many", "Some", "A Good Number", "A Significant Percentage", "Tendency Towards".

There are others, but get those down first, then we can move into stylistic variants and presentation that will thoroughly hide what a thoroughly and mindlessly bigoted person you demonstrably and actually are.

Sorry ...
I forgot for a moment that in everything you, you're right -- even when you're flat wrong.
I won't make that mistake again.
I forgot that the right wing is so anti-choice... apparently about everything.

However, don't think for a moment that we're ever going to let you make any decisions concerning our lives without a fight. Maybe you should just go back under that rock you came out of. You'll be much happier not knowing our progress.

You really are an ignorant jerk. Forget my advice on hiding under a rock; stay tuned as gay marriage comes to your neighborhood. Here's hoping all your grandchildren are gay!(And that won't be their choice.)

Since the overwhelming majority of pedophiles identify as heterosexuals, a better bet would be to keep straight men away from the children.

NEVER allow a straight man to be alone with a child.

NEVER.

EVER.

More than a year after his arrest, he has yet to be tried on charges that haven't changed, possession of illegal images stored on his computer. It's been this long and they apparently still haven't found any real life connection between Brinkin and the children in the images and no reports of any victims of inappropriate sexual behavior by him. The "case" is on life support with not a whole lot of there, there beyond questionable viewing habits.

Searched and couldn't find anything. Looks like the charges were dropped.

By the way, there have been no BSA sex scandals.

How long do you think that would continue if we allow homosexuals to become Scout Leaders?

We'll be celebrating the ability to exercise our right to marry, regardless of how many choose to actually exercise that right.
Btw, since no one knows how many gays & lesbians are in any given state, your supposed stats are meaningless.
Either way, rights aren't based on how many people choose to exercise that right. The only thing which matters is that all people have the right to make that choice for themselves.
The jury is in: male-to-male marriage doesn't work. Your little social engineering experiment failed, and failed miserably -- probably because the guy who invented it is notorious San Francisco pedophile Larry Brinkin.

This should be a enough new information to put a stop to your teaching children male-to-male marriage is normal and safe.

It's neither.

And, by the jury, you mean your opinion.

Gary, why are you so fascinated with other people's sex lives? You seem to post on no threads other than those dealing with same sex marriage, you have a fascination with other people's sex lives, and want to hold fellow citizens as second class citizens with less than equal protection of the law.

Do you really think your arguments are rational, intelligent, and constitutional? Because, if so, here's a spoiler. They aren't. They are bigoted, irrational, and unconstitutional.

1. Opinion is what we get from you, uneducated at that.
2. Is he? I think he wants to preserve traditional marriage.
3. You seem to be fascinated with gay sex, no one cares.
4. False. States make the laws, people follow them. The laws apply equally to everyone in the state.
5. We know yours aren't. Especially now that anyone can go to a state that allows gay marriage to marry. You were irrelevant before that was possible.

You fellows are in the schools teaching children male-to-male anal sex is safe and normal. The way you got there is same-sex marriage. In fact, that's the reason you want same-sex marriage -- political power. As we see in Massachusetts, 10 years after same-sex marriage, less than 5% of you even bother to get married.

Get out of the schools.

Leave the kids alone.

What part of that don't you understand?

Gary, this is perfectly indicative of the BS you so frequently post. You make a lot of claims, but don't factually substantiate a single one. Find some proof of ANY of the assertions you have just made. Otherwise, you are just making a bunch of crap up, and your credibility was questionable from the word go. I guess when one doesn't have a valid and factually supported argument, they simply make things up, like you have here.

Can you back up any of your assertions with some facts and cite the sources of those facts?

I don't think you are up to the task.

No they haven't. And NO the SF Courts have very few gay personnel. Those that are are not involved with this case.

Funny. I "googled" using my favorite search engines and got data immediately. I also visited the SF Superior Court site.

Here's a disconcerting thought: suppose this trend continues in all the other states?
What will you be whooping and dancing in the streets about then?
Oh look, how cute. There's failed author Gary Lloyd just pulling made up statistics out of his over inflated ass!!!

Cite the source Gary!!!

Here we go again: whenever they get stats on gay men they don't like, what do they do? Pad these stats with lesbian stats.
Here's an example: In Massachusetts 10 years after same-sex marriage, only 5% of gay men are married. Well, the LGBT doesn't like that stat, so it gets the numbers for lesbians then reports back that a whooping 23% of "GAYS" are married in Massachusetts.
Here's the bottom-line: the LGBT can't be trusted and gay men are still not getting married in the State of Massachusetts.
Oh look at you, demonstrating your creepy obsession over gay males!!!

Hey, can you provide a link that shows exactly how many gay men there are in Massachusetts?

After you do that, can you provide the basis upon which you have decided that what percentage one represents in overall society has any input on what rights they are guaranteed? Good luck with that one Ms. Lloyd!!!

This fat old drag-queen-wanna-be, with his Glee worthy bleached hair, has been peddling the same outdated and debunked information on topix pretty much since MA extended marriage equality!! And despite all his misinformation, we now have 16 states with marriage equality, two states outlawing fake conversion therapy, and other huge gains. His side? Not so much!!!

Tell me, is he still shilling for MassResistance??!!!! I'm going to guess yes since he never once demonstrated that he had an IQ capable of independent thought!!!!! Just cut and paste and cut and paste!!!!!!

It was the Thursday after Oct 27, 2013 for Brinkin.
Last time I look up something: Castro homicides and homosexual book-wetting.
Yeah, I read that one, too.

The case was weak and over-charged by the DA's office. With the number of people who pass through Larry's house, and who use the computer, it's hard to establish that he was directly involved in acquiring the images.

My computer has literally tens of thousands of images from all sorts of places, and on all sorts of topics. Some files I haven't opened in years. If I weren't so geekish and neatfreak about organization, my hard drives would be unintelligible. I have to spend a few hours a month just organizing and refining my filing system to make it useable. I doubt that Larry is as dedicated to tidiness as I am. I'm also far more distrusting of others than he is, so NOBODY else goes on my computer. Nobody. I learned that from a few bad experiences over the years.

Part of the reason that Mr. Brinkin's case has received as little attention as it has is that the media don't want to splash it until evidence start to be presented and a verdict rendered. A person can be destroyed even if acquitted.

Now there's this big child porn case about a guy (named Wei, I think) in Canada that appears to be a hub of an distribution international network of some kind involving 300+ others ...

THAT'S a case to follow.

I hear, by the way, that members of the gay community internationally have been assisting the FBI, InterPol, and Law Enforcement in the EEU Countries in this particular investigation. Others, too. We have been for years. I know some of them.
