It certainly won't be The People's Demokratik Socialist Republik Of Kanada, I can tell you that !(I've been thinking of Belize the past couple of years).
There WAS a time when immiigration into to the U.S. was needed. That time is long since past.

The only reason I was thinking about moving to Belize the past few years is that the weather there seems to be so much warmer and nicer than anywhere in the continental U.S.(It's 62 degrees here now).

Plus, the language there is English, and they have an Anglo culture. And the population of the entire country is less than the Town Of Brookhaven where I lived for more tahn 25 years.

On the minus side, they drive on the left-hand side of teh road which measn I could never own, nor drive a car there (I don't trust myself driving on the left-hand side of teh road), and they do get hit with hurricanes from time to time (They moved the entire capital of the country just for that very reason, because it was destroyed by a hurricane some years ago).

Here in the desert in southern Arizona, where I've lived for 11 months now, there doesn't seem to be any bad weather whatsoever, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, windstorms, and bad things like that. And I've seen almost no rain at all here in the past 11 months.

If you are not 100% Native American (which includes the original natives of Belize) then by your logic you should be leaving.

Not buying that plane ticket any time soon? Hypocrite.

While English might be the "official" language, the most commonly spoken languages in Belize are Kriol and Spanish. English is definitely a minority in the region.

You wouldn't be happy there -- they are a diverse society. And we all know how conservatives feel about diversity.

Then why are you griping about where you live now? Obviously you need to drink more beer.

I'm not griping about living here in Coolidge. This is a very nice area and I have a beautiful house here. And I actually don't drink beer or touch alcohol anymore.

I'd still like to experience living in Belize and seeing the country.

It's not worth owning land that's too small to hide a few bodies...:)

I hardly think so. I live in the Landmark Ranch area of Coolidge, and the houses are very close together here and the land quite small. The lot my house is on when I lived in New York is 12,000 aquare feet and that's not very big. This is less than 5000 square feet. Hardly room for bunker with livable space.
Here's a tour of the house put up by the realty company:
