Society, and its misconceptions of what constitutes masculinity, has imposed on the average man a suffocating role he can hardly carry through without stress.. Add to this a sad lack of education and culture and you have beings without the capacity to reason their plight correctly and tragically trapped in a dilemma without solution; consequently, in the worst possible of jails: the skin-colored cage we all carry with us and from which there is no possible escape. The choices for spontaneous expression given them can be counted in a mutilated hand with three fingers..

I wonder if the study included or excluded men with children, regardless of sexual orientation. I would think that would be an important factor in stress levels. Not so much because the children themselves are stressful, but because of economic worries about supporting them. Men still have a "breadwinner" role imposed on them and a "hunter/provider" role by genetics.

"A Canadian study on anxiety and sexual orientation SUGGESTS that heterosexual men suffer more depression and higher levels of stress than gay and bisexual men."
The homosexuals present an inordinate amount of "studies" that "suggest" something, yet prove nothing.
The homosexuals are waging the biggest misinformation campaign in history.

The study was designed to affect me in the opposite way that it affects you. Figure it out, CurlyCheese.

This is not surprising. Gay men appear to value having a great time and indulging themselves as highest priorities, like teenagers. Many of the things that cause stress are related to having a family, being responsible adults, and usually aren't undertaken by gay men of 25 (which was the average age of study participants, meaning many of them were even younger than 25). Yet another bogus study with an article intended to prove once again that gays are superior. Nobody but gays would ever believe that.

Now that's really funny coming from you. All you have is misinformation. When have you ever backed up any of your positions with scientific evidence?

To various degrees, I believe most gay people go through a period of depression when they realize they will have to deal with irrational prejudice from others. Most survive, develop emotional armor, and are then free to pursue becoming an autonomous human being.

Straight men on the other hand, are restricted by social norms that encourage aggression but punish other human emotions that demonstrate compassion and love for others. They must be tough and repress their emotions, while gay men have abandoned that irrational social constraint.
