A GOPasaur opposed to marriage equality, civil unions, open military service, etc?

Why I'm just shocked!

I hear he's against a lot of women's rights issues too. Regardless I'm still voting for Obama/Democrats this year.

Nobody votes for or against a POTUS candidate based on his VEEP. Doesn't happen.

eh...unless that POTUS candidate is like 100 yrs old and his VP has the intelligence of cardboard. That had to at least factor into a few non-votes for McCain. At least he didn't shamelessly pick a VP candidate solely to get a demographic he would not otherwise get. I say that only because the Republicans really do not do much for women, and breaking that barrier with Sarah Palin would just cheapen the whole thing.

I would have voted for McCain in 2008 if he hadn't chosen Palin. People actually do vote for/against the VP. That kind of thinking just doesn't match with reality, but it does sound like you don't like the choice of Ryan and are trying to rationalize.

Were you in a COMA in 2008? It is well known that Palin lost the election for McCain. God, you are out of touch!

I loved and respected McCain and was, and am still, so disappointed in his choice. If I EVER planned on giving him a try, it died that day she showed up.

From what I have read since, he barely knew her before she was thrown onto the stage and though he is too professional to admit it, I bet he loathes her now. His wife and daughter sure do and have made it clear since. Don't tell me that is NOT discussed in their many houses.

Well he's said it.

WE aren't a part of his constituency.

He represents SE Wisc, not San Francisco FFS.
I'd settle for him supporting equal rights, but that's asking too much from a GOPasaur.

Could've fooled anyone; you make it sound like he supports pedophilia and rape (which is what you meant, we all know this), neither of which have anything to do with gay rights.

Moreover, stop acting like you have any control of others' thought processes. Five seconds after I started reading about Ryan the other day, I became eternally dead-set against him and YOU nor anyone else is not going to FORCE me to support his anti-American attitudes. This is how it works. I see what he stands for and I drop all consideration of him in a political context. You're not gonna change that between now and the hour of my death; and I'm sure I speak for many people who have already started the work they need to do.

In fact, amusingly, they started the DAY Ryan was announced.

Right, you alluded to Ryan doing something like this, not gays.
Ryan Fan wrote:
because he's not a Democrat politician and does not support that part of their party agenda.
Well, no; it sounds far more like the republican agenda, since people EXACTLY LIKE YOU talk about it so often.

No democrat ever mentions it *once*.

Republicans like YOU mention it daily.
Ryan Fan wrote:
Ryan actually receives lots of votes from Democrats in his district.
Everything you say which is unsubstantiated is meaningless.
Ryan Fan wrote:
Both Obama and Ryan carried the district in 08.
See previous.
Ryan Fan wrote:
Hopefully more normal Democrat voters will go GOP now that the Dem party has made clear they just care about weird sex perverts than helping fix our country.
Since this isn't remotely how they see the democratic party as a construct, their thought process doesn't match yours. You are focusing like a salivating monster on child rape and pedophilia and whatnot; democrats are trying to rid the country of scumbags.

No wonder you feel attacked.

*snicker*

(I actually did snicker that time; I even outdid myself with this one.)

That would make him a typical Republican, so NO, I wouldn't support him.

So Ryan's going to keep all those straight toe-tappping bathroom Republicans away from children? Good to know.

They are opposed to homosexual acts, which are performed by sodomists and perverts. You'd think some polititians, lawyers, and judges would have a dictionary nearby. But hey, liberals look to rewrite that along with replacing the constitution.

I am one that understands that faults and perversions have no discretions in respect to all people of color, gender, party etc. You're the one pointing out other peoples frailties and perversions in an effort to hide or give the appearance that your own perversions and burning lustful desires are normal, healthy, and morally sound. Even going as far to share such sexual defective ways with children.

I call it the homosexual inferior complex disorder exposed.

The Boy Scouts? Come on, really?

<quoted text>Obama supports homosexuals hanging around little kids. It distracts people from his failed and disastrous presidency. The Democrats are going to push talking more gay nonsense and extremism because they don't want people to look at their failed record in leading the country except for what homosexuals want.
You're exactly right. This is a convenient distraction for someone who clearly has no ability to lead or persuade other nations and unite this country. In fact, they don't want this country united. The only thing they seem good at is stomping around in circles of civil discourse. Just like the Wisconsin senators that left the state to avoid a vote. Real brilliant message there.
This issue, and many others are embarrassing, the look on Putin's face said it all. If Obama is re-elected, we are doomed as a free thinking society.

My Dad is voting GOP this time even though he's a union guy.
All Democrats talk about is queers all the time.
Marriage was one thing, children is another. To think in this state neither issue was allowed for the people to vote on, let alone speak about. This is not a very good example of a free democratic society. This state for decades has had a pedo problem and it would appear many victims may have made it into high places. The local news source in Berkshire County generally only report those cases committed by the poor while ignoring or not reporting very well on the high profile cases.

I'm glad my Dad finally sees it for himself, and he's a life long now-ex-Democrat voter.
Our whole country is swirling the drain and all Obama and the Democrat party cares about is their queers being able to hang around little kids.
It is all pretty amazing, sad, and frightening all in one. I don't see very much good on the horizon. I think these people will go crazy if Obama is out in November, I really do.
