Why label the candidate as a lesbian? She's not running on her sexuality.

N.Y. couldn't have 2 better Mayoral choices.
I say the real weiner sex pervert will win...
There are more straight women in N.Y. that love real weiner as compared to store bought toy weiners.
They already chose Hillary twice, what's the difference. Her inept actions or lack of actions caused four to die.

if she is anything like a typical NY lesbian, she probably won't let anyone forget she's a lesbian.

What about all those millions of "shovel-ready jobs" ?! She'll provide millions of them because they will have to spend years strengthening all the bridges so she can cross them to visit the other boroughs !:)

I vote for her before I voted for Weiner.
I don't know what makes her qualified.
Is she a community organizer or something?
Whoever becomes mayor will be entering a firestorm of trouble as New York descends into the Democreep pit of despair.
Soon it will turn into a bankrupt city like Detroit, Stockton California and pick another democreep disaster of your choice..
What then?
I'd stay in the cubbyhole.
NYC has been "bankrupt" many times in it's history.

I seriously doubt whether any of the republicant loser candidates for the last two elections would have been elevated to winners if they had been black or lesbian - guilt trips or not. LOLL

Morals are in the eye of the beholder and most folk aren't as freaked by homosexuality as you are. In what passes as your mind, "homosexual" = "immoral", most folk don't have that problem anymore. Loved the Freudian slip by the way.

Anyone who thinks being female is enough to "break that glass ceiling" should remember one word - Palin.

Education, credibility, experience, qualifications are just as important when voting for a woman as it for voting for a man.

Hence McPalin's losing.

76% claiming to be religious isn't proof that any of them share the same view as to what is and what is not moral. You aren't speaking on behalf of God, all of Christendom, or even all those identifying as religious.

Stunningly, gay women (like many voters) actually think about the candidates and what they bring to the table re: their own personal issues. All voters don't march in party lock-step..
