Actually, I just finished a good novel in the "alternative history" genre where we joined forces with the Germans and did just that !

:)

And I have a funny Hitler story too.:)

Since you've already been there and know the terrain so well, where WILL it take the USA? Give us some specifics ... so we can be prepared.

I've only read 2 books in that genre. The first one I read a few years ago was the novel "1901" by Robert Conroy about a German invasion of the U.S. It was very good. The other one I just finihed was "Red Inferno: 1945" also by Robert Conroy.

I read a lot, but 99% of what I read is non-fiction.

Finally, all my hard work has paid off.

You now know how to fish, instead of me giving you a fish. You are welcome.

It brings a tear to my eye to see one of my students achieve greatness!

First off, you idiot, your grasping of English would be laughable, if it weren't so shocking. PLEASE tell me that English is your second language.

Secondly, Russia is AGAINST gays, not for them. You are yelling at them for being as homophobic as you are. How stupid ARE you, moron?

Or, are you for them? Who can tell with your horrible grammar?

If we believe Saul's Etiology of gay orientation, they certainly must be with all those idolatrous images they bow before and kiss all the time.

When well written like the "1632" series, it can be used to interest and instruct the young. Never a bad thing.

But you can rely on "Daniel P."/ "FaFoxy"/"Cal " for alternate history stuff. It's his specialty.

Deny it if you can, but you did learn something from me. Look how aware you are of errors now!

Did you know that they used El Segundo High in "The Blackboard Jungle" in 1955, staring Glenn Ford and Anne Francis, written by Evan Hunter ("The Birds")? I hope that, and my influence, make you so careful now with your posts.

No, it's not. I have a very wide variety of interests.:) The 2 books I have read in the alternative history genre were by teh same author and were pretty good. Not the best novels I have ever read, but pretty good.

I can't understand why anybody would want to sta in Russia. i would think tat nearly the entire population would be fleeing to a normal country.

I did meet some Russian guys once tho and they seemed like nice guys (they probably weren't free to speak freely tho.)

Russia has NEVER been "communist". Not in a Carl Marx sense of the term.

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Libra

This is a fantastic day for using your brain with precision and accuracy. For instance, it's great for filling in a complicated form or going through some complex paperwork because you'll find it easy to concentrate on what you're doing. It's especially good for paying attention to the sort of finicky details that you normally aren't interested in but which are right up your street.
