"I believe that the truth of Christ and the truth of scripture is the strongest idea and the best idea, the most true idea of all human history; and I believe that it is the solution to a broken economy, a bankrupt culture, and a loss of integrity and morality worldwide."

Does that mean Everett Piper is now going to stop keeping Sunday for the Sabbath, stop bearing false witness, and begin following the teaching, preaching and practices of Jesus Christ?

It could make a world of difference if the many millions of folks like Piper would turn to God and away from their worldly practices and "wicked ways" of disobeying the Scriptures by not keeping the Sabbath, and bearing false witness, celebrating pagan days like Christmas and Easter, lying about Heaven and who has gone there, lying about when salvation is manifest, and constantly trying to merge the secular with the church.

"If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

I am a christian, however I find it a oxymoron that the bible belt Christians would support a Mormon who they don't recognize as a christian but as a cult,, against a Democrat that is a Christian, a good moral family man, that stands for the working poor and against Wall street and special interests like Romney, it is strange that the far religious right would support a cult religion, Romney, over a Christian, Obama, are they really racists? Remember Jesus said care for the sick and poor, Republican Ron Paul said let them die, he's a christian ?
