Except for the harsh winters New England is THE place to live in the US if you want to remain in contact with high civilization . You'll find obnoxious people everywhere in the world but it's one of the regions where their influence is very much less felt or given ear to. They speak the language better ( much ) also .

Even most of the str8 R. in that part of the country are pro lgbt equality.

There actually would be no problem in mentioning that as part of the context of all these lgbt candidates in New England.

Meanwhile, the hicks in the tee baggrz/talibangelical party are locked at least a half century in the past. At least.

Did you mean "I hope that they speak the language better than you?" As far as you're concerned, we most certainly do.

It's true. But I include NY in the best places to live. I'd also like to check out the Pacific Northwest a little closer.

New York ? I'm a New Yorker. Where in New York ? I left New York for the warmer, sunnier climes here in southern Arizona 2 years ago.:)

They should all lose big time and be put in mental hospitals, where they belong. People have become such weaklings and cowards, not standing up to perverts.

Yes, you might well be right about the Pacific Northwest .. I know New England much better and love it so much I'm sure I was grossly unfair to other states .. New York (where I lived for two years) has certainly a lot to offer . but more for students and vacationers than residents; unless you live outside the metropolitan area, perhaps ..

Yeah, Crudwiener, nothing demonstrates courage quite like disparaging gays from the safety of your computer keyboard. Go do something more constructive, like brushing your tooth.

Richard Tisei, Steve Kerrigan and Maura Healey. All fine people. That said, you don't want to vote for them unless you want gay everything to become more prominent in your everyday life.

Richard Tisei ran against John Tierney last time around and lost.
