Gee, I didn't know that disagreeing with Bryan Fischer was an impeachable offense!

Perhaps the law should start looking at charging Fischer with promoting hatred. Isn't that a crime against humanity or something?

That shows you what kind of losers the Christian right is.
Impeach the president for promoting equality.

Somebody is actually paying this man to be this bat sh*t crazy. I guess even internet trolls and gay bashing Christians need professional role models.

And that is the head of the American (heterosexual only, preferably Christian and Republican and legally married) Family Association. An honest to God and the IRS charitable organization promoting their version of the biblical ethic of decency in America.

Clinton should have been impeached for implementing it.

Let us hope that Bryan now holds his breath until Congress pays the least bit of attention to him and his anti-American demands. Maybe that'll take care of what no assassin has been bored enough to do.

Oh, and Breath? Exactly what lies are you accusing Rick of disseminating? I see only a straightforward, unemotional statement of clear and unassailable truths.

xavier wasn't accusing Rick of disseminating lies. He was agreeing with Rick's post, and questioning why Bryan F. was being allowed to lie without consequences.

Why are there no repercussions for purposefully disseminating lies?
Reality, under current law, as long as they file the required reports and don't do anything criminal or discriminate on the basis of race, challenging a group's tax exempt status is damn near impossible.

Fischer is just another idiot who can't tell the difference between not enforcing current law and not defending a law in court.

While it is custumary to do so, the DOJ is under no statutory obligation to defend every law passed by Congress. In fact they have a duty to assist in overturning laws which they believe to be unconstitutional.

Would anyone expect the DOJ to defend a law banning left-handed people from voting just because it was passed by Congress?
