The sin and doom of Godless men

Jude 1
"...certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord...
17But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. 18They said to you,'In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.' 19These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit."

I'll be at the marriage supper of the Lamb in heaven. Will you? The Church is the bride and Jesus, the Groom. Check out the program:
Revelation 19:7-9
7Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Well that is all find and dandy but what about dinner sometime while we are here on earth in the physical? Ten maybe I could tell you about the church I attended when I went up to the alter.. Or maybe the church I attended when I lived in Ohio and became a youth group director of after being baptized in the Ohio river.

mr strike; thank you for the post. and the other one you sent me to read. i'm trying to understand what you are saying, but maybe i'm not bright enough so please bear with me. i am not being purposely obtuse. first, let me just say that i am a heterosexual, and i do prefer the way a male's part fits into my part. i can't judge what is insane, i can just go by what i have seen. when i see two people that genuinely love each other, i don't even think about whether or not their parts fit according to what the majority of people think. to me a double standard is when there is a standard of behavior that the majority judges by and then they use another standard to judge a minority. if we judged, say gay partnerships, the same way that we judged heterosexual partnerships, then homosexuals would be allowed to be married everywhere. now, as to homosexuality being normal, it isn't for me, for sure, but it is normal for the homosexual.

So you're against learning too?

God gave us the gift of intellect that we may explore and learn about His creation. From this and other of your posts, I see you spit in God's face and reject using your brain for anything other than rote memorization of the bible. A computer can do that far better than you. And less obnoxiously too.

Hmmm. Perhps more evidence you are nothing but a mindless computer.

Hmmmm? Interesting. I wonder what that's supposed to men? I also wonder if you learn to explore a little outside the box? Did you know that many people who think they got it made will not make it to the eternal kingdom? I know you're smart enough so you should know. Also, being overly presumptuous is a sin, for there is NO one here on Earth that is 100% guaranteed to be saved and go to the heavenly kingdom. We should ALL humble ourselves before the presence of God and know that if it wasn't for his son Christ Jesus, then we would not have a ghost of a chance. I am zero without Him and I would probably be dead already. Be careful, be very very careful, for I hear a lot of Ego in your words. Please remember, and again be careful, the devil himself has quoted scriptures even to our Lord. So, it is not the amount of scripture you know, it is how you apply it and how you live and treat people. I know a pagan that could probably make your Biblical knowledge seem as if you know nothing; but what fortifies us? It is the Holy Spirit within us and Christ in our corner. So please, keep it real and don't get ahead of yourself, for I am certain that you are well aware that the Lord would be upset with misrepresentation of the faith.

Again, Peace be upon you and yours :)

Clean your places of worship before finding fault with others; I am tired of reading about gay clergy or child molesters. I am tired of reading about double digit divorce rates or 25% of young girls having an std. Pretending that these problems don't exist and sticking your head in the ground while praying that they go away has not helped.

Since the dawn of recorded human history, a group of zealots has been forced to live among us. Convicted of original sin they did not commit, they walk among us. Posing as ministers and holy warriors, they scratch out an existence still wrapped in their mortal coils.
If you are a moralizing rage-a-holic, if you have nothing better to do, if they pretend to accept you, maybe you too can become one of the pretenders, the righteous ones.

The Church in heaven will have physical bodies. Remember how Jesus, after the Resurrection but before the Ascension, ate fish for breakfast with His disciples which He cooked for them on the beach?

John 21:8-14...The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards. When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.

Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish you have just caught."

Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish. This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Gender is determined by chromosomes - XX or XY. But sexual and other forms of abuse or negligence can mess things up for some people. Just experimenting with sin can mess you up. There is a spiritual battle going on behind the scenes and sadly, the devil wins some souls. But God has provided a way to win you back: God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, to die (in your place) on the cross to pay for your sin. Confess to God of your sinful ways, ask God for forgiveness and turn (repent) from your sin, and surrender your life to Jesus to live for Him. It really takes a full surrender of your will - a simple prayer won't do. Finally, read the Bible to get to know God and how to live for Him.
Perhaps you should take your own advice sweety.

Don't get me wrong Allie, there are a many great dastardly and nasty things that many Heterosexuals do as well, so this is not a gay bashing membership club, and many heterosexuals as well will have to answer to got for a lot of stuff. It is not a who fits what and where sort of thing, though that is relevant to science and natural laws, but what is meaningful and purposeful is the word 'Love'. I fear it is a word used just as loosely as 'Bigot'. I am sure you have heard the word 'Love' used in some very off and dubious circumstances and there are also many different kinds of love, some are purposeful and others are not. The Bible states, and even you should know that money isn't evil, but it is the 'Love' of money that is the root of evil. Many boxers 'Love' to hurt their opponents. You 'Love' cigarettes. John Brown 'Loves' both his Wife and his wife's best friend. Tony Loves' stunt biking. Do you see something wrong with the word 'Love' used in this context? People do love each other when they are in a relationship, heterosexual and sometimes even homosexual, sure, but remember, for there to be a day there has to be a night, one is for day dwellers and one for nocturnals. You cannot love in 'Spirit" something that is contrary. We all know that there are varying degrees of love, you don't love your child the same way you love your pet, and you love neither like your husband.
I study a lot, and I don't study to condemn people though I admit that when I just got to this forum thread I was blazing fire and acid, but I now understand and realize that these people are really beautiful....smart, kind, conscientious, caring and very friendly when you get to know them, so I study to know the truth to further myself and teach as accurately as I possibly can, not just for personal accreditation. So therefore, regardless of of how people want to spin the passages in Leviticus and Romans about same sex relations, NO ONE can deny that Christ says he's the bridegroom in the Bible and say that the Church is the Bride in Revelation, and the reference for Woman in prophecy is the Church. So again it is quite simple if you're using a Biblical context that it is clear, the Groom is Christ (Man) and the Bride is the Church (Woman). The purpose of the creation of them both was to be together. When there was NO sin on Earth and God created all the animals and Adam, then saw that he was lonely, he never created for him a man but a woman, and no one can say it was for procreation, for the "be fruitful and multiply" edict came after sin and not before. Eve was made to be a companion, help and love partner so that they would both not be lonely. Now, as long as people try not to be overly stubborn and realize this, then there are no problems, but to deny facts is far worse than being ignorant of it. Peace and Love to you :)

Oh kitty is harmless towards people.. Too many drug dealers with pit bulls moved in the neighborhood so I got kitty for protections,, she hates big dogs!!!

About the stone tablets,,, there was a total of 4 given to mankind. And a set of teachings were given also. Each for that specific time, place and culture. Do you remember the prophecy I showed you that said, If any of the brothers or sisters if the four directions cast their stone tablets upon the ground, in time almost the whole earth shall die in time! Well there is a very big meaning in here and it is not literal like in Moses getting mad and casting them down but rather the people forgetting them. A good question to ask is Where is the stone tablets that went with the bible teachings? Why are they there? Why have the other people that still have their tablets been systematically one by one almost wiped off the earth and by who?
-
You are on the right track my friend when you say “I believe this is one of the missing puzzles of truth that the world may need to move from religion to ultimate relationship“
-
With your comment and the answers to the questions I ask above you can see a bigger picture. You cannot take one part of a teaching and force it upon the world as the whole truth.
-
Anna
Ps. Ther are many stories of the Healer. These stories were told by the fireside of a "saintly white teacher," who performed miracles with healing and control over the winds, waters, and other natural items. All describe his eyes as grey-green like the ocean and told stories of the future. His symbol has been woven into blankets, carved on canyon walls, put on pottery and danced in dances. His name has been given to mountains and rivers.
-
In Etowa, Georgia, the Prophet began to mention the future after a rite of dedication (known today as Thanksgiving). His first prophecy was concerning the Puan people moving northward and a civil war taking place amongst them. His second was as thus, "Farther off there is another invasion. In ships many bearded men are coming from across the Sunrise Ocean. Many are the ships as the snowflakes of winter. I see these men taking the Broad Land; and the Mounds which hold the cests of our cities are for them, alas!, but earth for the taking. They do not respect our trees of cedar. They are but hungry, unenlightened children, and with them the vision closes....Would that I could speak to those bearded farmers! I have tried. They do not hear me. They go on their way like spoiled children, while I return to you and the present here at the Temple at Eseecowah."

Who do you think this prophet was talking about?
