For a lot of drag queens, doing drag is not just a profession, but a way of life.

Carnival's homophobia will cost them a fortune
.
They can save time by converting The Glory's 1400-seat 'Amber Palace' into a courtroom

The gays should be keel-hauled instead of corn-hauled.

I've been on several cruises on Carnival and other cruise lines and there is ALWAYS a drag show of stupid idiotic drunks while the audience SCREAMS with laughter, but those are not serious drag queens, but bored suburban husbands whose wives urge them on stage. So, if it is silly, it is OK with Carnival, if it is serious drag, they pitch a fit and deny it.

Why wasn't RuPaul aware of this beforehand ? I had a chance to meet her once, but she was over in Island Park, and I drove there once before, and it was so far out of the way and so far south of Sunrise Highway, I swore I would never drive down there again, it was just too damn far and inconvenient to get to.

Also, what is the connection between drag and 911? If a terrorist wants to be in a disguise, he doesn't need to cross-dress to do so.

ANYTHING would be better than the living hell of existing in El Segundo.

El Segundo: where the maids and janitors of Manhattan Beach all share tiny apartments and breathe LAX stench.

Turns out that Carnival has issued a follow-up statement blaming the earlier announcement.

Of course, at first, they declared that any passengers who dressed in drag would be put off the ship with no refunds... they are now trying to spin the damage control.

They say that, oh, sorry the TRAVEL AGENTS must have misunderstood us! Obviously, clarity was the problem. Now they say that of course, folks can dress in drag, and Carnival would never dream of discriminating against anyone! It was just miscommunication!

Well, the end result is that --imagine it!-- people will be allowed to dress in drag on the drag cruise. However Carnival isn't fooling anyone... they DID intend to discriminate against drag queens, quite offensively asserting that they might make other cruise passengers "uncomfortable." ...Until they got snapped at, and realized that they were going to lose not just THOUSANDS of dollars on this cruise, but millions of potential dollars from all the LGBT folks who would NEVER do business with them again.

Carnival, the LGBT community has three words for you: Oceania, Celebrity, and Royal Carribean. Okay that's four words. The point being, if you think you can discriminate against LGBT people in ANY way, we can and will take our business elsewhere....And also sue your ass.

And hopefully the gay people who do support them will all get E. Coli infection. What a cheesy outfit!

Then you probably don't want to go on a drag-themed cruise, even if it is just the performers. Why don't you read the story troll-shit?

They have NO problems with drunks having "hairy chest" contests or passengers eating like hogs, or half the ship's population getting horrible food poisoning, or passengers drinking till they literally fall overboard, however.
