I'm guessing they have to label it as "new data" as a technicality, for perhaps there hasn't been enough information in the past for surety?

I suppose you are correct, so far as scientists go, but anyone with a decent amount of common sense wouldn't need "new data".

Ah, but considering the amount of people who are on here claiming that being gay causes suicidal tendencies, it seems this "new data" is actually pretty needed.
