If the Governor and AG of California can be named as defendants in a lawsuit, then the Governor and his staff in Pennsylvania can be named as defendants in a lawsuit, essentially suing the Governor and his staff.......obviously, he doesn't want to be sued......but he can be!!!

Wooo wee! If that's the quality of argument we can expect from Corbet's lawyers, they'll be trounced. The immunity is PERSONAL immunity for acts of office. It would kind of make a mockery of the constitution and federal law if state officials could do anything they wanted without fear of the federal court system, wouldn't it?

Let's see: So far he's compared same-sex marriage to children marrying and men marrying their daughters. Now he claims that his office is immune from federal oversight. Where does the stupidity stop?(Evidently, it won't stop until January of 2015.)

This is the legal version of someone scratching and clawing at the ground as they slide over a cliff--they know they're done for, but they can't help but try to stop the inevitable.

I expect these excuses will get even more crazy and stupid as time goes on.

With arguments like this, it's no surprise the anti-gays keep losing in court.

More PA taxpayer dollars being wasted by a bonehead GOP Governor and his team of dogmatic, sycophantic bigots.
