Surprise! Ex-Gay Activist Not So Ex-Gay After All

Feb 6, 2013 Full story: lezgetreal.com 17
Anti-gay groups rely upon the notion that being gay is a problem. They rely upon a cadre of statements about how being gay is a public health hazard, and how gay men will hook up with anything that moves because they are insatiable sexually. Full Story

The morons that infest the general population cannot change sex orientation either
.
They cannot change their 'own' sex orientation
.
They cannot change anyone else's sex orientation
.
I said it
.
They'd better believe it
.
Or they must be punished
.
;o))

Recall Inspector Renault in "Casablanca"?

"I'm shocked, simply shocked, that there is gambling going on in this establishment!" He is sputtering this as his bribe is handed to him.

He apologized to Jesus for being on grindr? Well, you don't see that every day...

If he wasn't so pathetic, it would be comical.

From the HuffPost screen grab of Moore's profile:

"Jus moved to New Orleans."

It would be nice if these Christian "ex-gay" types would jus learn to spel. Or is he really saying his boyfriend "Jus[tin] moved to New Orleans."? That might be why he's single.

I read several of Moore's postings on CP when they started running his stories last year. Most were very long, and I always got the impression he was trying harder to convince himself that he had "left his homosexuality behind" than his readers. Just my impressions.

More than likely, similar to the overly theatrical postings of the usual "straight" trolls that frequent here. Soon we will see "drama" in action.

What happened with this guy is that he's experienced what it's like to:

1) have his hormones settle down to a less compulsive and erratic level with end of adolescence

2) have some mental clarity as a result of not being a drunken, drugged-out scene queen

3) have fewer shallow erotic liaisons

4) have a little structure in his life

What has also happened with this guy is that some religionists got into his head and told him that all this is part of leaving the "gay lifestyle".

The same happens to any hetero when he changes these things. Shall we say that the hetero has given up the "hetero lifestyle"?

Changes in the above areas WILL influence how well a person's life functions. There's NOTHING spiritual about it. Changes in those areas do NOT constitute changing one's sexual orientation.

All that this guy HAS done is to give up being a substance garbage can and a slut, and is not experiencing a more adult sexuality pattern. He gets horny from time to time and looks for a partner to deal with it.

The problem ... the REAL problem, is that somebody has screwed all this up with a very bogus set of theological notions.

Poor guy.

Wow. I'm a new Christian convert, but I don't expect my sexual orientation to ever change. Even long after the current rush of adolescent hormones calms down, lol.

Even alcoholics who repent and swear off drinking never call themselves "ex-alcoholics!" They may call themselves "reformed alcoholic" or something like that, but never as "ex."

A gay can be "celibate" or "reforming," but he or she will always be gay until the resurrection or whatever. So much better to accept it and deal with it honestly than to claim that something magical happened and now all those former sexual attractions have been replaced by "acceptable" ones.

Many years ago a pal of ours suddenly began dating a woman. No one could believe it. He was the "gayest" guy we knew. So, they got married and had a kid, but he said that he had to fight to NOT want men every day. He was miserable, despite loving his kid to pieces. We lost track of them, for they went all weird and preachy and no one wanted to be around them anymore. The last we heard, they were having Tupperware parties....for Christ! Honest.
